Its seems when it comes to Israel - all animals are equal BUT some are more equal than others.

The USA electorate, largely, has accepted the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish state. The machinations of various Palestinian groups, such as Hamas, and their supporters, such as Iran, have refused to accept Israel in the sense that they will cease trying to destroy it. Until the USA electorate changes its mind about Israel's "right to exist" it will not be seen as a "rogue state" for its actions to protect itself. Even the terrible destruction and death in Gaza is not seen as "genocide" by the majority of Americans but rather as a terrible "cost of war". Americans cannot understand why the actions of Israel in Gaza are seen by some as "genocide" but the actions of Russia in the Ukraine are not, by the same people. The crux of the matter is whether or not Israel's right to exist can be accepted, even though it may be the unjust result of 20th century big power politics, which were largely European but also included the Ottomans.

They're done for because that "ruthless dictator" fell and all the supply routes fell with him, keeping Assad was extremely necessary for their survival. Now they're isolated.

See, the paranoia exhibited by your above post is a large part of the problem between the "West" and political Islam. The "Muslim world" is not under attack by anyone. To live in peace, all the "Muslim world", including "the Axis of Resistance" states and entities, has to do is stop terrorizing non-Muslims. Because of what al Qaeda did to the USA on September 11, 2001, the USA will never trust a radical Islamic group to control nuclear weapons or materials. America imo wont enter directly into the war. Having said they are de facto there anyways. Israel without American weapons and money would be not much more than Jordan or syria. What I think most likely and worrying that America may supply Israel the bunker busters. Israel could use these as a face saving exercise use them and say mission accomplished

As I said multiple times in the India-Pakistan conflict thread: Indian workforce should be as thoroughly kicked out of the Middle East as possible and replaced with Pakistanis, Bangladeshi.. anyone but Indians. There is potential of tens of billions of $ for Pakistan via remittances if that happens, which would be a game changer for Pakistan's economy. And, yes, Pakistan has too much surplus labor to worry about 'brain drain'. Most poor countries of the world may complain about 'brain drain' but don't mind getting the $$ AND fresh discourse/tech from their expats.

Spot on. Problem with Persians is, they are stuck in the ancient past, bloated egos based on past achievements, not present day realities.
