There is a lot of emphasis in this forum on religion and race. If so then how come so many White Christians killed each other in the two World Wars? How come so many White Christians are killing each other in large numbers in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war? How come non whites, non Christians like the Japanese and the South Koreans are at peace and prosperity with a 70+ year alliance with the Christian White West? How come a Muslim non-white Turkey is part of NATO? So on and so forth.
The leaders--in both govt and in the business--in Western countries are mostly agnostic or even atheist and even soulless killers. The main motivation and the driving force is 'profit' and preferably it should not come by killing co-religionists and ethnic kin but they will kill anyone standing in their way.
Having said that, Pakistan poses a major threat or at least an obstacles to the Western order in Asia because Pakistan refuses to distance itself with China and China is the main target of the America led West. Otherwise, Pakistan could become another South Korea or Taiwan and join India in an anti-China alliance.
It is not the race or the religion: It is all about $$$. But there is, at least on street level, race and religion are a major factor. And thus you see the entire Islamic world in support of Iran.

While many of the rulers who make major decisions and lead nations into wars may have their self-interests as a priority, I think that race and religion do play a very important role in events.

Regarding the Russians, Hitler thought of the Slavs as inferior. In Mein Kampf he said that the Germans were superior but didn't have much land while the inferior Slavs had lots of land. Therefore, the Germans must occupy them and make them their servants. Even the current Ukraine-Russia war is driven by Western Europeans not accepting Russians as part of the West. Russia, on the other hand, has been going soft on the Ukrainians because they think of them as their own.

Turkey is part of NATO, but they haven't accepted Turkey in the EU. Their main objection is that EU is made up of Christian nations.

The creation of Israel may be led by atheistic Zionists, but the basis of its creation is totally based on Biblical narratives. For 2,000 years Jews have been dreaming of returning to the Promised Land, and most Jewish rituals require the presence of the Temple. They're preparing the way for the building of the Third Temple. US support to Israel is based on acceptance of the Jews as the Chosen People. Many Americans in powerful positions, including the military, are driven by religious fervor.

So, religion and race do have a big role.

Yes, I don't even think that's too dramatic to say, it's not as if people did not know what drones could do, but I find this use of drones almost a mix between medieval infiltration style war matched with modern gimmickry, it's cheap, it's scalable, effective pretty much anywhere
