Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

On the impact of the GBU-57 A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator bomb on the Fordow nuclear facility.

Presently there is no way to confirm one way or another. But I note that over the last 100 years we have persistently over estimated the impact of air bombing (please note - nuclear bombs aside).

In the First World War massed artillery was the revolutionary technique to destroy enemy positions. Didnt happen.

In World War Two, air strikes were supposed to totally finish German industrial output. Didnt happen.

The Vietnam war was so one sided, air power was supposed to destroy the communists. Never happened.

What history tells us is that air bombing tech is often countered by defensive measures on the ground.

Hence I for one am skeptical of the claim that Fordow has been completely destroyed.

Boy o boy. I don't know if this has been posted or discussed here before but these lowlife indians had been blaming Pakistan all day for these attacks and guess who was actually behind facilitating them them.

That is a fake account promoting a fake claim. The attack came from the Western Direction, the B2s flew from US to Gibraltar, Mediterranean, israel, Jordan, Iraq and then Iran.

Neither Pakistan, nor India were involved in any airspace permissions or any airstrips since the B2s never used this direction. Pakistani & Indian accounts, including PTI within Pakistan, are arguing over a non-issue.

Israel is not satisfied with bombing .....now saying much of the equipment and matetial was already transferred else where.....

Syria is under new management. Doubtful any S-400s there.

The Russian base is still there. Fully operational, they signed an agreement to have the base stay with the new govt. though it does seem that the Russians have repositioned S-400s to Eastern Libya under Hafar's control allegedly.

First, no one can 'force' or 'eject' or 'remove' US from the UN. See Security Council.

Second, if the US exit the UN, the UN as an institution would collapse. Sure, alternatives would rise, but the world would have to see a chain or rise/fall until a sufficiently cohesive and attractive idea endure. League of Nations then United Nations, for example.
The UN legitimizes American led interventions, enforces sanctions, and provides a platform to project influence. Without it, the USA would lose leverage, forcing it into costly unilateral actions. Pretending the USA doesn’t need multilateralism is pure fantasy.
Personally, I want the US to exit the UN and let any other fool take on the task of building an equivalent. Excuse US if we do not wish 'Good luck' to that task.
This reeks of petulance. If the U.S. exits, it won’t be missed as much as you think. The global order isn’t a charity project, it’s a negotiation. And if America prefers isolation, don’t be shocked when the next "UN" is built against US's preferences. US has been a terrorist state for far too long enough already.

They will only be satisfied once Tel Aviv and Haifa are turned to dust.

Iran is already preparing for thr long haul here. They need to move past this US attack.

Detailed analysis on the craters made over Fordow.

More evidence emerging that this was nothing more than a light show.

the strikes failed.

Another analysis that shows the strikes failed using science... (can't seem to post the twitter link, as it leads nowhere, so here's screenshots)

The first satellite image of Iran's Fordow nuclear facility after it was hit by a GBU-57. The crater hole is visible, and the hole has partially collapsed, but nothing else

something about physics. on this foto you can see 6 mini holes created by 6 bombs. detonated deep under the earth surface. the explosion 60m plus would not cause the collapse. maybe yes maybe no.

subsidence crater. Blast most impact were contained inside the earth. I am pretty sure underground corridors and halls are cooked.
you're pretty sure are you? Well you must have a crystal ball then, because here's what the head of the IAEA just said in his statement:

The head of the UN's nuclear watchdog says he doesn't know the extent of damage at Iran's Fordow nuclear facility after US strikes.

"There are clear indications of impacts," International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi tells CNN, "but as for the assessment for the degree of damage underground, on this we cannot pronounce ourselves."

"No one could tell you how much it has been damaged," he says, adding that because of observed changes in the shape of the sites, "one cannot exclude that there is significant damage there."
