Good points, at the risk of going off-topic, China was allowed to develop post 1980 onwards by the West because they thought a developed China would naturally move towards democracy and the West. That naivete was exposed as nonsense and hence you see the new aggressive Western posture against a newly empowered China forty years on.

Even if our countries quiet focus on development, they will never be allowed to develop beyond a certain level to ever rival Israel or the West. Still worth trying.

US is on the verge of losing superpower status after supporting the genocide of Israel.

If Iran does not respond to US aggression, it risks anarchy within Iran and public pressure could lead to downfall of Khamenei, who is already 86 years old and may not live for too long.

If Iran does respond, it will escalate to multi nation proxy war. Trump will be under immense pressure as his reputation will be stained with pro-war from anti-war leader and the US will be stuck in a war for another 20 years to come. It means by the time the war ends, China will be the only superpower in the world

The Houthis in Yemen (who are weaker than Iran) confronted the US Navy and won. The Americans were expelled from the region—even after deploying B-2 stealth bombers, F-117s, aircraft carrier, A.I and etc.

Aside from fanboys on both sides no one is shocked or impressed at the outcome.

Iran has a non existent airforce, its best AD system was S-300 which was destroyed by Israel a long time ago. The USAF/USN is overkill for Iran, even irrelevant countries like Qatar or the UAE could've struck Iran.

It's MOP that took the spotlight

I just asked AI what Irans best strategy is under the current situation, and it gave me exactly what Iran is doing. Maybe they are using AI to come up with tactics given that most of the c&c is dead
