guess which country is the largest oil producing country in the world. This isn't the 1980's when the US was reliant on middle eastern oil. Plus without air cover Iranian navy will be sitting ducks in the strait. You can't selective block shipping based on destination of the cargo. The shipment could be headed for refineries in Singapore, India or China and the condensates sold to Israel by these countries. More Iranians will die in the pursuit of this madness. US Ships don't need to enter the strait. Unlike the 80's, these boats can be tracked and engaged from the air. The GCC doesn't even need the US military to take care of these missile boats.
