You didn´t defeat them except once where you took from them the entire Levent, Egypt and the entire North Africa but that lasted for 9 years as the Romans made an unbelieable comeback this battle is detailed in the Quran actully.

If we lost all wars , why we are here and our enemies are not ... our last official war with Ottoman did end in our victory , we crushed mughul empire of India ( lead to conquest of India by UK ), we crushed Uzbek powerhouse in central Asia which lead to their ultimate defeat by Russia ,

we fought Russian empire for 20 years before losing .
