On the long run, something like 50-60 Su-35 would be very good for Iran. Add to these about a 100 J10C and you'll get quite an air force, all backed by about 30-40 Mig-29 to safeguard them or distract attackers. That wouldn't be the top airforce of ME, but a good one.

Iran needs at least 300+ 4.5 gen fighter jets to ensure complete safeguard of its airspace and waters

For a country like Iran, it also needs a light aircraft carrier with carrier based aircrafts and helicopters, but this is currently not an option for Iran and under sanctions

I remember a Russian commentator reporting his death on the day of the ceasefire between Iran and Israel. However, to be sure, is there any recent photo of David Barnea after the ceasefire?

You can’t beat Israel just by bombing bases or shooting down jets. Even if Iran destroys their airfields, Israel can use places like Cyprus or other friendly bases, and the US will replace anything they lose practically for free. Sanctions and the UN won’t touch them.

The only real way for Iran to win is to make Israelis want the war to stop. That means making it too costly and stressful for their own people to keep supporting it.

Iran would have to hit critical economic targets that actually hurt: the Ashkelon and Hadera power stations, the Sorek and Ashdod desalination plants, the Port of Haifa, the Port of Ashdod. Those aren’t easy to replace with US aid. Cyber attacks on Bank Leumi, Bank Hapoalim, Israel’s electric grid operator, the railway.

It also means hitting the places where people go to relax, get from A to B like metro stations, malls, and big shopping centers. Spread fear and disrupt daily life. Destroy police stations. Force constant blackouts so people can’t cool their homes. Make them stand in line or take extra steps just to get water and food. Make normal life so miserable and stressful that it becomes unbearable to keep fighting.

But Iran doesn’t have enough missiles or launchers for this type of war.

This is 100% what was needed to be done. Unfortunately neither Iran, and even Pakistan did not do that in their recent conflicts.......hence we're now sitting ducks (our civilians) because our elite/leadership did not have the balls to crush the enemy the first time. They're now actively re-arming and will come back to finish us with better tactics and it will be more losses and bloody next time.
Pakistan had nukes but didn't even escalate and told their PAF and Army to stand down as they feared escalation. Then the stupid gloating in the media. While their economic hubs still at full power. We didn't cause any damage to them other than few jets. Why? Because they're still barking and preparing like mad pitbulls to come again. Because we didn't have balls to finish them off. We complied with Trump Chacha.

And the only reason: "Restraints" due to whatever reason (america, dollars, visas, retirements, lavish lives ahead).

yes, after ceasefire, Radar network is so bad, on the last day they destroyed the only proper working Long range radar.

Then whatever they have - gets Jammed.

The only option Iran truly has now....is to just destroy israel with every weapon/mizzile in its arsenal, without any fear of repercussions. Just do it. It's the only way. No time to build anything now as the war is on. Build launchers and use everything to destroy the entity and the dumb arabs that support them. The arabs will only wake up when their lavish lives are actually disturbed and their own civilians come for their palaces, and be demanding shit.
Nothing short of this is going to work (really sad and unfortunate to even have to suggest this).

Again, it is easy for bystanders to suggest such silly "solutions".

I will trust the judgment of the Iranians themselves in deciding what is best for their country, given everything that has happened recently.

No need for an aircraft carriers, better off spending that cash on a 5th gen stealth platform that can go hunting after air-to-air refuellers. Iran just needs to protect its airspace so that its missiles can do the talking, and it needs to deny Israel logistics chain over Syria and Iraq for long range missions for the IAF with stealth. 2-3 squadrons will get the job done of making the air-to-air refuellers an endangered species.

If they spend top dollars acquiring these fency toys they will be sitting ducks for Americans/ Isaraelis unless they first acquire top of the line early warning systems/ long range radars/ Air Defence systems which much be multilayered and long range to keep Israelis out of Iraq airspace/ invest massivly in generating good trailing and pilot culture/ setallites for survaillance / underground facilities for missile storage and production and most importantly MAKE A BOMB......

Otherwise please dont waste your money...

Bomb for Iran is political issue, not technicality or knowledge...It will be necessary vast majority among different branches of Iranian elites to agree and prepare one top secret complex operation...

The biggest barrier iñ Iran is the current government ironically. Loser to say the least. When enemy sees weakness, it attacks with wrong calculations. Strength in action, makes enemy more realistic. Pezeshkian makes us vulnerable with giving wrong signals to the enemy.

Trump is a confessed bastard. What do you expect from a bastard? How is that animal going to act against you? USA as a whole is a bastard nation, so you have to determine your actions and reactions based on that fact. Don't hesitate for a moment.

But as you can see, we left Israel again. It's true that we had casualties too but we had to end that cancer once and forever. War is bad but inevitable.
