Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Pezeshkian won't participate in BRICS ( just losing best opportunity to see all leaders who can help Iran)

and people wonder why we call him traitor (Zarif is trying to make the western happy)

Araghchi went there, a strong diplomat. Pezeshkian has no political skills.

Houthis have Taer-2 SAM with 70km range and possibly Sayyad-2C with 75km range

but true no 'long range' SAM system
Yeah, 100 km is hardly a long-range SAM system. But what radars do they have? You can't just shoot at some random voxels in the sky and deter your enemy.

They do 👇

I quickly checked the article but I probably overlooked where it talks about a long-range SAM. What long range system do they have?

100km is long enough to keep Israeli jets out of Yemeni airspace

they use mostly EO/IR systems but they probably have the SA-6 radar too (50km range)

Israel does not have good intelligence in Yemen hence they keep attacking the port and power stations... they tried to kill the Houthi chief of staff a few weeks ago but failed...

they used modernised SA-6 to hit Saudi F-15 in 2021 (plane continued but was likely damaged, and was likely due to pilot errors)

“We condemn the military strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran since 13 June 2025,” leaders said in a summit statement, without naming the United States or Israel.
That's a pretty significant distinction. Aka we don't actually support you at all

If Iranian missiles had little to no effect, as Israel had claimed, then Israel would still be bombing Iran today just like we see in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria. Israelis got hit hard and backed off Op Rising Lion quickly once they saw no uprising in Iran. For the first time since 1948, Iran brought the war to Israeli streets instead of just their television screens.

Indians gave up even quicker in Op Sindoor , a 4 day war. It proves that you must be able to impose severe costs on your adversary in order to quickly end wars, otherwise they will mistreat you forever.

Iran had very limited numbers of Kheyber missiles it seems. Thats why they were firing one or two of these missiles in a salvo of 40. I believe Iran need to quickly manufacture many of these. As Israelis systems were unable to intercept these missiles and out of the. 3-4 Kheyber missiles fired, all hit targets.

I know Iran still have hundreds of older generation missiles. But if it can fire 20 Kheyber missiles in a salvo of 100 with 80 older generation ones. I don't believe Israel will be able to do much.

Also, now is the time for Iran to take help. Take satellite help from China and other sources if you got. And identify targets throughout the Israel. 100+ ready to be fired on targets. As we all witnessed in recent war that Iran had 6-7 targets only where they were striking, and occasional 1-2 missiles on other targets. While Israel targeted 100+ targets throughout Iran.

Su35 can start flight mission from east of Iran and wit combat range f 1500 KM , go to west of Iran and do mission flight and then comeback without needing air to air refueling . It can cover entirety of Iran ...
So Su35 even with weaker avionics are better choice for Iran because lets be honest , we would know our airbase will be first targets in any war with Israel or PGCC...

If the war didn't happen and we would get first complete batch till the end of 2025, all these speculations would be baseless ...

And part of Su35 deal was paid by Iran sending drones and ammunition to Russia ...

Chinese act so high for us and it became frustrating.
What do you have to be frustrated about? We should be frustrated, we have always treated you as friends, you think we let you be your minions, shouldn't you go down the path you have chosen? The Americans and Israel want to destroy you, so why don't you let others see your bravery? And you say in good conscience that we have always supported you on the Internet, and I also support you in China's anti-aggression network every day, but why did you choose Russia and India instead of us at that time?

Iran won the support of fellow BRICS nations meeting in Rio de Janeiro today, with the bloc condemning Israel and the US for the assault on Iran’s nuclear program and military infrastructure throughout the 12-day war last month.

“We condemn the military strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran since 13 June 2025,” leaders say in a summit statement, without naming the US or Israel.

“We further express serious concern over deliberate attacks on civilian infrastructure and peaceful nuclear facilities,” the bloc says.

The 11-nation grouping says the strikes “constitute a violation of international law.”

The declaration is a diplomatic victory for Tehran, which received limited regional or global support over a 12-day bombing campaign by the Israeli military, which culminated in US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities at Natanz, Fordo and Isfahan.

We have never chosen India over China. This is completely baseless and a fabrication of the Chinese. If you want to talk about the Chabahar Port, it was first offered to you. You were not interested because of the US sanctions. And China was distancing herself from Iran after 2008.

About Russia, it is unfortunate. I personally think that the Chinese are more trustable than the Russians. At least, the history of Iran-China relations is a lot more amicable compared to the history of Iran-Russia relations which has been filled with animosity and mistrust. However, certain factions inside Iran are Russian puppets, in my opinion. There is absolutely no justification for this level of closeness with the Russians.

It is not appropriate to criticize only Russia.
They harbor deep distrust because the reformists have consistently tried to approach the West.
When Rouhani negotiated with Biden to revive the JCPOA, there were reports that Russia was concerned about these talks.
Russia trusts North Korea because it has consistently shown a stance of confronting the United States.
Frankly, from an outsider’s perspective, Iran is overrun with foreign agents.
The President is very close to Azerbaijan, an enemy state, and among the reformists, there are countless individuals whose families or offspring hold American citizenship and plan to retire in the U.S.
I believe the Iranian people’s senses have become numb, but honestly, this is abnormal.
It’s only natural that they are not seen as a very reliable ally, for the same reasons Armenia was abandoned.

They are trying to turn Iran into Lebanon.

NEW: Netanyahu Seeks U.S. Pre-Approval for Future Strikes on Iran

In a meeting with President Trump on Monday, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu will request a formal U.S. “green light” to strike Iranian nuclear targets if Israel decides reconstruction efforts have resumed, according to a senior Israeli official who spoke to The Jerusalem Post.

➤ Israel wants a standing mandate modeled on Lebanon, where the U.S. has approved preemptive Israeli action in response to any activity Israel finds suspicious.

➤ Under this arrangement, the Israeli Air Force would be allowed to strike Iranian nuclear sites without needing new U.S. authorization each time.

➤ The proposed mechanism would effectively give Israel advance cover to escalate militarily if it claims Iran is rebuilding nuclear capabilities.

➤ Netanyahu is also pressing for the U.S. to activate “snapback” sanctions on Iran, citing lack of cooperation with the IAEA.

These are the sorts of things Indians would say with respect to Chinese support of Pakistan ..... The Chinese won't fight for you etc etc

It's so intentionally said with bad faith, with respect to correct context

Except China did help Pakistan, more so than Russia helped Iran. And Pakistan didn't need help, it has nuclear weapons which prevent an escalation and created hard red lines.

Its not bad faith, its just stating the obvious Russia has no intention of taking a side. The people who think Russia, China and Iran are all besties in the same boat fighting against the world are the ones that are naive..

Israel used 50-80% of its entire air force every day to suppress SSM bases and needed US GBU-57s to destroy Natanz (10-20m underground) and (maybe) Fordow (80m under mountain)

and the element of surprise of local drone terrorists used to paralyse Iran's air defences and limit operational freedom for missile teams is heavily degraded at least

I don't think it's feasible for them to repeat this every time. Iran's new nuclear sites (Natanz-2 150m, Qazvin 200-250m) are buried far deeper than Fordow (80m). Israel can't reach them even if the US gives them B-2s and infinite GBU-57s (which cost $30m each and only exist in very small numbers, up to c. 20-30 left).

Israel didn't even try to hit the missile cities buried 200-400m under mountains.
