It is possible to turn Israel into an inhabitable place without nukes.

Just hit their 5 water desalination plants, their 3 refineries, their handful of power plants, their fuel depots, their pharmaceutical companies, and it's game over for them.

As much as I wish Iran did that, it would rally the international community. All the news would be "Oh poor Israel, they are under massive attack" and aid would pour in. They would forget about their genocide in Gaza.

The world will help them rebuild.

We are at a stage that ideas like how we will rebuild no longer matter.
We're fighting for survival, in my opinion.

People here know me well. They know I have never had any love for the Ayatollah regime in Iran, but if the regime is toppled in a war, Iran will turn into Iraq 2.0 at best, if not Syria 2.0.

So, we should do everything in our power to survive first. If we start to think about such considerations, we should then surrender unconditionally but I think the time for unconditional surrender is over as well. They're coming for our destruction and if we have second thoughts, it will only make things worse and more painful for us.

We need nuclear deterrence. We need to hit Israel really badly to establish deterrence. Then we can talk about our next moves.

Israel announced they will carry out 14 days operation and finished it on the 12st day. They will come for some more. Hopefully Iran is prepared.

Israel shouldn’t have started an operation with a timeline they couldn’t finish alone Banking on just dragging Nato and US in the end to safe them in a war they were going to lose in attrition war.

It's not that cut and dry. I think they were running out of interceptors and needed a pause to resupply.

Israel is playing the long game here. As another user, I think Immortal or ShapurII has stated; they want a country they can bomb over and over with impunity.

With a country as large as Iran, with so many missiles, they need to take their time to wear them down. Remember, Israel has all of the west re-arming them, and zero economic sanctions.

Iran's economy is essentially under embargo, and the noose is going to tighten even more in the coming month or so as JCPOA snap-back provisions re-instate U.N. sanctions.

It does not have the infrastructure to rebuild its air defence network that quickly. Heck, there is no air force! They didn't even go up against Israeli jets.

Guys, I really hope I am wrong here. But for Iran to prevail would require major industrial output, and the political will to escalate with larger attacks, large enough to do considerable damage to Israel's military infrastructure so that they cannot retaliate.

You forgot the most important thing happening in Israel. The population revolt there because of the strikes, and many wanting to leave. Irans strikes had Tel Aviv looking like Gaza. And huge economic damage Iran did to Israel people completely don’t mention it . The War was not one sided.

The Westerners, unlike our leadership, act rationally based on science and mathematics.

They do cost analysis. What are we going to gain? What are we going to lose?

Imagine Khamenei standing in the road somewhere and an individual that'd his enemies have come to kill him has a gun in his hand. Khamenei is staring at the dude with the gun trying to find pockets of safety, he is trying to create angles by which he can somehow escape without being killed. His eyes are fixed on the gun and the assailants hands. Then the guy points and pulls the trigger and Khamenei scrambles.

That's the state of our strategic affairs. It's a reflection of old man Khamenei's own personal characteristics. That's all that is. Khamenei could have been carrying a gun with him to be able to fight back knowing this would happen but he doesn't.

We are nothing more as a state the shadow of what Khamenei is in his personal self. That's all. He needs to retire. He needs to go. He is the biggest problem that we are facing. If he goes out and we find a better leadership we will be back in business.

Nobody can claim, but Khamenei is "wise". No he isn't, a man who does not have balls can never be wise because it takes balls to assess a certain scenario to its merit. As a result, none of Zarif, Poo-Hani, pezeshkian or Khamenei are wise. They don't even qualify for leadership.
