Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Despite all the precautions, Israeli jets dropped six bombs on top of the bunker soon after the meeting began, targeting the two entrance and exit doors. Remarkably, nobody in the bunker was killed. When the leaders later made their way out of the bunker, they found the bodies of a few guards, killed by the blasts.

Tell me how did Israeli jets drop those bombs precisely on those areas if they didn’t penetrate the airspace?

The copium on here is that no Israeli jets got deep within Iran. And that everything was drones, internal crews, and BMs lobbed from Iraq. I don’t believe that copium one bit.

never really understood the logic that MALE drones could fly freely around central Iran but Israeli jets could not

The program was already started before him, but he did his best to limit their range and destructive payload as I mentioned.
When Khamenei became the leader of the revolution in 1989. Iran was barely making Shahab-1s and Zelzal rockets! He could have kept Iran's missile capability restricted to those if he was a stooge like you claim, but he didn't!

Targeting Iran’s Leaders, Israel Found a Weak Link: Their Bodyguards

The meeting was so secret that only the attendees, a handful of top Iranian government officials and military commanders, knew the time and location.

It was June 16, the fourth day of Iran’s war with Israel, and Iran’s Supreme National Security Council gathered for an emergency meeting in a bunker 100 feet below a mountain slope in the western part of Tehran. For days, a relentless Israeli bombing campaign had destroyed military, government and nuclear sites around Iran, and had decimated the top echelon of Iran’s military commanders and nuclear scientists.

The officials, who included President Masoud Pezeshkian, the heads of the judiciary and the intelligence ministry and senior military commanders, arrived in separate cars. None of them carried mobile phones, knowing that Israeli intelligence could track them.

The attack threw Iran’s intelligence apparatus into a tailspin, and soon enough Iranian officials discovered a devastating security lapse: The Israelis had been led to the meeting by hacking the phones of bodyguards who had accompanied the Iranian leaders to the site and waited outside.

Israel’s tracking of the guards has not been previously reported. It was one part of a larger effort to penetrate the most tightly guarded circles of Iran’s security and intelligence apparatus that has had officials in Tehran chasing shadows for two months.

they are probably leaking it since Iran discovered it. if this attack had been successful the war could have been much much worse for Iran.

they don't need to all meet in person. stick to encrypted hard line comms and separate secret discrete locations.

This country is doomed.

There is nothing to “leak”. This was the same tactic used against HZ. Literally verbatim. There was an article that said Israel used AI models and the cell tower pings of hundreds of HZ members to triangulate the most likely locations of HZ nerve centers in South Lebanon over months and years. They mapped their comings and goings.

Yet despite this being WIDELY REPORTED, This retarded government of Iran allowed their bodyguards to carry cell phones. Even Bin Laden and ISIS had more brain cells than the IRGC/Iranian Intelligence/leaders of this country.

Stick a fork in this the Republic. They are done.

It is highly likely that the EU, by giving the impression that there is a 30-day grace period, is once again engaging in misdirection to launch a surprise attack on Iran.

Quite possible. Especially with US Navy off the coast of Venezuela (a known Iranian ally and major IRGC ally).

Perhaps Khamenei and the reformists are desperately pleading for surrender, but the U.S. and the EU are demanding Iran’s complete and unconditional surrender, making the situation dire.
Unable to decide on either surrender or war preparations, the likelihood of Iran being caught off guard by a surprise attack, similar to what happened in June, is increasing.

If people remember, back in George W Bush, there was reportedly a “grand bargain agreement” delivered by Iran to the U.S. that said Iran would give up support for Axis groups, normalize relations with America, and stop its proto-enrichment program at the time in exchange for removing the embargo + sanctions.

However, George Bush didn’t take it seriously (but it was delivered without clear indications that Khamenai authorized it) and George Bush was bent on reshaping the Middle East so he rejected any notion of a deal with Iran.

Anyway, if such a grand agreement did exist (and there was indications back then that Rouhani pleaded with the west to allow at least 100 centrifuges for research purposes) then I wouldn’t be surprised if the Republic factions decide resistance is futile and that the IRGC cannot properly defend the country.

Capitulation could potentially happen if this second round ends up with Iranian military performing badly.

Khamenei let them do it because he is the leader of the Islamic republic of Iran and the people of Iran keep voting for these reformist sellouts. Khamenei knows if he acts against the reformists, the Islamic Republic will unravel into chaos and civil war. So in true democratic fashion Iran has to suffer at the hands of the idiot masses who never learn and keep voting for the Reformist clowns!
Bullshit. It is Khamenei that did election engineering this time to pull out a reformist from the ballots.

If we are not preparing for it, then we don't have any right to complain.

The missile depots of India, specially where India is manufacturing brahmos, should be blown before they are deployed. Otherwise, after October, it's clearly it's Pakistans turn, and India will flat Pakistan before Israel attacks us.

Do you remember I told you about this exactly when you reacted to Shadmani's daughter that said her dad didn't even have a cellphone?

All it takes for someone's location to be leaked is one weak link in their entire network of contacts.

never really understood the logic that MALE drones could fly freely around central Iran but Israeli jets could not

MALE/HALE drones that can carry a decent payload have detectable RCS and their slow steady speeds gives them away that they aren’t natural phenomena (a bird for example). Plus all those bombs on the pylons would raise RCS only higher. So logically drones couldn’t have been bombing Iran freely, maybe border regions with weak radar spotting, but not near Tehran and other major cities.

Then there is the BM excuse, which again doesn’t explain the pinpoint strikes, if Israeli BMs can hit within 1-2 meters from hundreds of KMs away then someone should give them the noble prize for doing something Iran couldn’t after 20 years of missile engineering.

My best guess: F-35s were exploiting holes in Iranian IADS. The 6 bombs makes sense because they likely were in full stealth mode (3-4 jet formation no external pylons or tanks) so each jet dropping 2 big bombs and then flying thru Azerbaijan (no real radar system capability) then Armenia (even worse) and back into Iraq thru northern Iran/Turkey border.

They were likely being refueled by a rotation of Israeli and American tankers near the Syria/Iraq border before they would enter iran.

And this is why you needed an interceptor force, because if that interceptor force could enter Iraq they could detect these tankers and lob BVR missiles at them and disrupt intrusion attempts by Israeli fighters and drones.

But of course for so many years the copium on this board was that “100 missiles would flatten any Israeli airbase and halt their sorties”. Yeah we saw what I always feared —miserable performance from Iranian missiles. Needing to fire 300 missiles to get <10 impacts is not a viable strategy.

I actually have a video clip of family members filming an Iranian missile salvo from Tehran during the war and one of the missiles failing before even leaving Iranian airspace. So who knows how many missiles simply failed in route due to poor QC. Even American and Russian missiles fail at 15-30% rate.

multiple MALE drones were downed over central Iran

they hit many missile launchers with drone strikes

And how many of those downed MALE DRONES had 250/500lb bombs strapped to them?

Drones cannot explain the massive explosions we saw throughout the war (and the ones we didn’t see due to night time or location).

From the looks of it, these explosions are from near Vanak.
You can clearly see the Kian Tower in the last photo. And the second photo seems to have been taken somewhere close to Mirdamad Bridge. So, the angle confirms that it is capturing the explosions near 12 Farvardin Square and Cybersecurity Police.

These places are large enough that did not need to be hit with extreme precision. And most of the buildings there have been damaged extensively but are still standing without irreparable structural damage. My point is that it is hard to conclude that these explosions were not caused by ALBMs. If that's what you're talking about or maybe I misunderstood you.

That was a mere example. Most bombings happened late at night with people in their homes/sleeping and on various military installations outside of cities. So explain How did they hit Pezeshkian and the SNSC meeting so precisely? Or the entrances of various missile bases? Or precisely hit buildings in Natanz while leaving others intact?

This logic that Israel F-35s didn’t enter Iran is copium. Even Iran claimed capturing 3 pilots (propaganda), why would they be claiming capturing pilots if there were no jets flying over Iran?

I agree. There's just too much copium. The main building of the IRIB is also a good example. 4 bombs were dropped there, at least.
