Theoretically smart but IR unfortunately destroyed their own ability to climb the escalation ladder. I suspect the imminent war will be more of the same and if regime change isn't achieved, IR will accept a ceasefire at the soonest opportunity to allow their enemies to rearm and try again.

Exactly what I told Hack-Hook after the war. Why would they be?
They have already destroyed everything Iran had.

Iran destroyed IR-40 by its own will in the JCPOA.
And they destroyed our uranium enrichment and metal conversion and heavy water production 3 months ago. What else is left from our nuclear program to negotiate over?

It will take Iran years to reach a position to sign a deal with the US like the JCPOA, if Israel and the US allow that to happen.
