Intresting that Ukraine is operating old Hawk systems and Iran had a modernized Hawk AD but many got destroyed without being fired during the war.

Surely this system could be used against drones or cruise missiles?

Ukraine is fighting Russia while Iran is fighting Israel + US. Not a fair comparison at all. iranian air defenses can easily be overwhelmed if they aren't hidden enough.

Yes. We gave them for free two from three Hawk batteries. Our batteries were PIP3 upgraded. So basically yes. Ukrainians have the shoulders of all EU.

Ukranians also recieved Patriots and Avenger systems. They can recieve as many of these systems as the US has the capacity for.
