Iranian Air Defence Systems | News and Discussions

for sure cheaper than s-400 but still very expensive and takes a long time to produce

anti-drone systems seem more needed right now
I don't know how true that is. The biggest threat Iran faces right now aren't drones, but fighter jets such as the F-35, F-15, and F-16, as they're capable of doing far more damage.

Having far more SAMs such as the BAVAR and S-400s would go a long way to keeping Iranian airspace safe.

...or buy tons of advanced fighter jets such as the Su-35, or advanced Chinese fighters like the J-10 (with a plan to buy 5th gen eventually).

Iran will solve issues with Azerbaijan and UAE with lights off.

When they tried to choke Iran in Zangezur with transferred Takfiris from Syrian Idlib and also a Zionist land corridor, a couple of missiles landed on Azerbaijan.

No one heard anything.

We know how to deal with them accordingly.
I am Not a fan of Donkey worshipping Azerbaïdjan but I seriously doubt they'd dare to do such thing. They would be the first targets if it ever happened... However yes, they are a spy nest for Shitrael.

To me, Turkey is more about to sell itself as they did loose to Iran and Russia in Syria & Iraq, maybe they'd like some revenge, but that's also very unlikely....

Iran's priority shoul be to globalize its air defence in quantity + acquire as much new fighter aircrafts as possible. Point.

How would that help EXACTLY?

It's a more reliable form of air defense, and can be used for direct retaliation, or chase down retreating bandits.

There's a reason why the most powerful militiaries rely heavily on air power. It's the best deterrent.

w can easily deal with them through Armenia, In fact we must have done that ages ago

What bombs or missiles did IAF use? And if they were missiles, couldn't the Iranian AD S300 intercept them instead of getting blown up?
I understand a glide bomb is harder to intercept with smaller size and all, but for them to launch a glide bomb they must've had to come with 100km of the target.

Most missiles were shot down.

A small percentage got through.

Where is the proof that the S-300 exploded?

Assuming the released satellite data is correct and not "photo-shopped" a few buildings were destroyed and a few sustained light damage.

How many missiles did the Zionists fire last Friday? Many dozens and so that means the vast majority were shot down or simply failed to hit anywhere close to the targets.

The attack was mainly a collosal failure and so the gloomy look on the faces of Netanyahu and his band of terrorist leaders when they were located in their bunker during the attack.

They proved their evergreen story about "precision", again and again, minister of defense speaks about assassinations.... precise special operations and assassinations are duties of intelligence service and special trained units...

This they already proved half century ago, recycling and presenting in different narrative....

But they went toi much, only important question-is iran ablr to produce missiles now. Or no....story that majority missiles are deatroyed is not even funny... https://www.politico.com/newsletter...ussia-china-iran-north-korea-quartet-00183727

I am saying this in the nicest way, but I find it almost impossible to understood your posts and I am pretty much a native speaker.

Maybe try using "Google Translate"?
