Iranian Air Defence Systems | News and Discussions

Interesting !
can you post the link to that article?
Yes, very interesting.

Then the American institute XYZ rejected the claims made by the American institute ISW and said that the American institute QWE has data that contradict the claims made by the American institute ISW. ;)

Joking aside, ISW is a real American institute but you can check their website and they've not published such a thing about the Israeli war on Iran.

people post news from random twitter accounts and think it is real ... it is not difficult to do basic checks like you just did before posting unverified twitter rumours from accounts who just post fake news to get more views!

"he spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Reza Talaei:

We continue to produce the equipment and weapons necessary for the armed forces more than ever before, and there has been no halt in production because it relies on local capabilities and resources.

The ISW is a neoconservative website, run by the husband of Victoria Nuland - Robert Kagan.

Iranian IADS has no solution to IAF's separating warhead/MaRVed lofted or high apogee ALBM. Even if we get S-400, the Tracking planar radars will be easily taken out by ALBMS of IAF launched from above Iraq. Technically entire world has no such system that can surely stop the ALBMs. IAF knows this so Israel focused on ALBMs, heavily invested in them while staying tight lipped about them. Their Arsenal of ALBMs is like IRGCAF's diverse arsenal.

the only defence is to move everything underground and hope they run out of ALBMs quicker than we run out of air defences so that they can't fly over Iran and use cheap glide bombs instead

their numbers of ALBMs are not known to be high but we don't have enough information to take a view on this

That will means the entire IADS search n Track assets will be gone. If you move them underground then TV/EO/IR/IIR passive tracking will be gone so drone strikes esp loitering kamikaze will become easier for the enemy.

Iran practically has no defence against this IAF over Iraq with Aeroballistics, no country has. Hypothetical IRIAF with ~60 SU-35S with R-37 can atleast disrupt the IAF launch point approach over Iraqi AIrspace, that will take atleast 3-4 years for crew to be prepared for this and I am assuming IRI wants IRIAF to be rebuilt which IMO is just not true. Right now the only solution is IRGCAF's return shots at Israel. So far both sides have failed to deter eachother from attacking eachother's land so even if IRGCAF performs 10x better than in 12 day war the ALBM strikes from over Iraq will continue.

Unlike IRGC which shows every achievement, every single detail of their bases is on internet, Israel has been pretty tight lipped about their ALBM arsenal. What we do know is that most of them are Separating warhead/MaRVed and can be launched at lofted trajectories to achieve higher Apogees for (1) High range with no Skip (2) High Speed with Skip. Since they do not need ground boosters, I am assuming the price would not be high.

I don't buy that video for a second...there is no way that was an accidental video. I hope somebody tracks them down for an interrogation.
