I donโ€™t know about โ€œ proper overhaul โ€œ.
Most of the components on a 50 year-old cobra are obsolete. If theyโ€™re flying, that means they have reverse engineered the components or have replaced them with domestic components.
You could have a 1976 Chevy truck maintained ,and rebuilt and it will accomplish what you need to get done .

The question is ,why not build new fuselages and have modern avionics?
They certainly have that ability and have access to Chinese manufacturers for what they canโ€™t produce locally.
They could easily purchased engines from the Russians or the Chinese.

Did they change the the engines !?
Did they change main frame !?

50 years old car won't kill you if malfunction, but the birds malfunction on air is going to be it's end ...

Although some people claimed these were targeted by MANPADs

If your hydraulic brake system fails, you may die in that 50 year old truck .
I donโ€™t believe in coincidences.

If this is an F-4, imagine the Kowsars which will also carry new missiles like this.Capture dโ€™รฉcran 2026-02-27 125942.png

It does not resemble an F-4 wing to me. The wingtip mounted missile appears to be similar to a legacy Azarakhsh. What is under its bonnet however, I imagine would be anything but 'legacy'.

Hey, but what do I know -just keep those images coming though .... .
