Yes all these planes will be destroyed like the SAMs were.
Iranian military doctrine is permanently 50 years behind. They fought against Iraq like it was ww1 and modern exercises look like something out of the cold war. Even if IRIAF got 6th gens from China they would be useless because they don't understand modern warfare or the modern battlefield.

There was a former US military pilot who trained Iranian pilots in the early 70s. He said the biggest issue wasnt skill.. it was pride. The Iranian pilots couldnt handle criticism and whenever their mistakes were pointed out they would get defensive instead of learning from it.

And honestly thats a very typical Middle Eastern/Iranian mentality. We are too hotheaded and too proud. We treat criticism like a personal attack instead of something that makes us better. Everyone tries to hide their faults rather than fix them.

This mentality has cost us in the past and its still costing us today.

Agreed with the hotheaded part though. Iranians are also extremely stubborn people.

Here's the thing. I am Muslim too but can accept that I make mistakes all the time and learn from them. Japanese have humility too. Why can't we be humble in our interactions with other humans who are more knowledgeable or experienced than us>

You are asking for classified information. OSINT cannot provide exact info about location of jet fighters and their preparedness. What we know, is that airbases such as Oghab is protecting high value assets from surprise attacks.

Iran can never compete with U.S in manned aircraft. This is exactly why the focus was so heavily on Surface to Surface missiles and UAVs/UCAVs.
