Finally some merit in IRIAF. He is a former test pilot for locally produced F-5s. Quiet Azeri man, more on technical side unlike Hejab Sermons Vahedi.

Better off protected in those mountain side airbases these would be the first to be hit in a war if Israel decides on another attack you have to be able to detect an incoming f 35 to send those planes out which doesn’t seem like even china is willing to help out if they can supposedly detect an f 35 which is weird even if they are supposedly not willing to supply offense or defensive weapons you would think they would try to help Iran prevent another attack

They should build 3x or 4x more hangars than they need and hope the randomness of statistics of where the Su35's are, also works in their favour as they will be targeted for sure.

these are not hardened shelters

In modern conflicts/wars, air forces will be rendered useless against any enemy with capable missile forces like that of Iran and Israel. In the next elongated war, both sides will lose 4.5 to 5th gen fighters on ground or the expensive auxiliary ones at the very least. Hardened bunkers can sustain hypersonic BM or supersonic CM to a point. Both sides have the capabilities to do so. IAF has worlds most advanced and large airlaunched arsenal while IRGSCASF has three times the budget now and they have demonstrated capabilities of hitting whatever they want in Israel. US and Israeli layered AD/ABM could not stop them. Also they seem to be quick learners and adapt to challenges as demonstrated by upgrades in MaRVs, new TEL strategy etc going from TP1 to TP3. So with this newly formed IRIAF in future, how can the 85 million USD each airframes be saved?

(1) Israel has shown weakness that it respects deterrence by leaving the domain if enemy goes for tit for tat strikes as confirmed by IRGCASF's attack on Bazan oil field for Fajr, Weiznman and Gav Yam for SPND, and ceasefire after Soroka, Eshkol, Beersheeba ... In the next war IRGCASF will have to repeat this. For every SU-35S, SU-30SM2, Su-24MK2, MIG-29SMT lost on ground, five of their F-16i, F-15i, F-35 will have to be sacrificed by Fattah's or KS's glowing hypersonic MaRV.

(2) Decoys were successfully deployed by IRIAF in 12 day war, wasting dozens of millions of USD of enemy. Iranian military has luxury of having dedicated companies that have expertise in making 1:1 realistic looking cheap mockups and decoys. They will need to make more and more and spread them wisely. In 12 day war, F-14A/AM, F-5E, F-4E/D's mockups were shown to be targeted. They probably make them for air defence TELARS and radars as well. They need to get to work for incoming fighters.

(3) More Oghab-44 like underground bases need to be made that can house all of these prized fighters. I dont know the capacity of Oghab-44 and the other suspected ones but in future IRIAF will have ~100 new + MLUed airframes. So 3 more will be required at the very least to just keep the SU-35S fleet.
