Seems like we are having the wrong debate then. Forget about fighting against west. Give up whatever you need to and focus internally on saving the country from ecological catastrophe. Exactly, losing nuclear energy is more devastating than the loss of nuclear weapons. Iran does not have the energy production capacity to survive climate change. There are already energy cuts during the summer now. The energy demand is only going to get worse from here out.

It honestly makes my blood boil that a country with by far some of the richest natural resources in the world and that has spent decades developing nuclear energy still can’t get something as basic as electricity right in 2025.

The concept of democratic constitutions originated in Greece and manifested in France and the U.S. not the Weimar republic. But if you want to go way back, you could trace the concept of universal human rights embedded into a constitution in the Cyrus cylinder under the Achaemenid king Cyrus.

Fascism is simply a strong centralized government with strict political and economic controls.

It uses ultranationalism to unite peoples and direct command based plans, while preserving capitalist system of private property and accumulation of wealth, but it maintains the authority to control means of production and pricing if necessary.
