Agreed. However it is not rational to want to overthrow the Islamic Republic without first identifying who will take its place. One can talk about wanting a "Nationalist dictator" but without identifying who that is, and whether or not the population is willing to get behind them? It is idiotic to overthrow the system with the hopes that the right person will magically appear out of nowhere and assume the roll. The risk of Israel rolling out a soothsayer agent to take the leadership and turn around and kill/imprison/exile anyone who opposes him is very real. Ayatollah Khamenei managed to save Iran from chaos at the most sensitive time when Iran was in great parrel, because he gave Iranians someone to rally around. Some here now want to depose him at a time when the threat of Israeli attack still looms over Iran's head and replace him with God knows who? I don't want to see a Zelensky or Jewlani type "Strong Nationalist leader" put power in Iran!
