How the U.S. controls Iraq's oil revenues

The U.S. control over Iraq's oil revenues primarily stems from the management of Iraq's oil income through the Federal Reserve Bank of New York

One of the lobbies promoting war. Iraq still can not sell its oil. The Americans sell the oil, collect the money , and then give Iraqis some percentage.

Hope you're wrong but probably war will erupt in some days. Seems that US is moving all their best high end assets to the Middle East. From bombers to submarines and best US Navy carriers. I am surprised how calmly and self confidence have Islamic Republic Government. Fight, fight, fight. Islamic Republic it is the last real western asset against Israel and US fascism.
All of a sudden, this guy is all over the place . They had him in a Q&A town setting with Christian Amanpour :

If right after Satanyaboo visit , Trump would have declared war, his base and the Americans people would be we knew he is completely compromised. Instead, they put on a show that there is difference and that Trump is not controlled by Israel and Adelsons. The exact same play is in motion again . All of the YouTubers with the exception of Douglass McGregor are reading the same script DJT was given his marching orders, there will another round soon .

Slightly off topic but this makes sense. Visitors to Iraq report how Baghdad is in good shape and has impressive malls and facilities. Iraqi Kurdistan is also quite good. The Iraqi Shia south however remains poor and neglected with a distinctly Third world feel. How is this possible when politically the Iraqi Shia have been part of the govt since Saddam's ouster ? The answer is the oil money is not controlled by Iraqis but Americans and they only reward their Kurdish and Arab Sunni allies.

This policy has also backfired as it has made the Iraqi shia even more dependent on Iran.

I'm no fan of Zelensky, he should've switched gears when he saw Trump coming back. With that said, Ukraine became the epicenter of Judaism in the 18th century, it's actually the birth place of Hasidic Judaism

Jews are 0.2% of the population

Zelensky met with Pahlavi today and has been barking a lot on social media

he should remember Kiev is only 1650km from Iran

To be fair, this is Iran’s own doing when it sold drones to Russia. Shahed drones wrecked havoc on Ukraine. Understandable why Zelenskyy hates Iran.

It would be like if Turkey sold drones to Israel and then morally sided with Israel in the 12 day war conflict. I don’t think in that case, Turkey could be mad at us if we morally supported Kurds to carve out a piece of Turkey for themselves. Karma some would say.

Before Ukraine war, Iran had good relations with Ukraine. We owe the Iran-140 plane to them and the KH-52 missiles they sold us after the Soviet Union fell, among other things. Yes they fell to color revolution but so did Sudan and we didn’t get overly hostile to them despite them kicking IRGC out and siding with Saudi Arabia.

I’m sure Iran’s leadership decided to bet on Russia in hopes of securing something they needed. Whether the trade was worth it in the end remains to be seen. But it was very out of character for Iran who traditionally doesn’t involve itself in foreign conflicts far away from its borders.

ChatGPT slop. You can tell by how many fucking — (em dashes) are in that response.

Anyone who frequently uses AI can detect when idiots use it to generate “analysis”, especially when these idiots don’t bother to have the decency to remove the constant em dashes or analogies or “it’s not X, but Y” statements to at least make it believable they wrote it and not an LLM.

You speak as though the U.S didn't spend 5 billion on the "Euro Maidan" coup to turn Ukraine into its own vassal state. The Ukraine that Iran had close relations with in the 1990s/2000s is long gone!

Apparently reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit so I bolded where I exactly alluded to that:

Before Ukraine war, Iran had good relations with Ukraine. We owe the Iran-140 plane to them and the KH-52 missiles they sold us after the Soviet Union fell, among other things. You cannot expect Ukraine to not support regime change in Iran after Iran continued deliveries and ToT of Shahed drones to Russia. It also throughly pissed off Europe.

Irans involvement in Ukraine war brought very little strategic gains for Iran and it caused one of Iran’s surprise cards (the effectiveness of its suicide drones) to get burned in Ukraine in 2022 when it could have used it in 2024-2025 attacks on Israel. By then Israel and U.S. were familiar with the drone and its weaknesses.

Iran thought by backing Russia in Ukraine it would lead to a break thru in relations. Meanwhile, Putin continues to treat Iran like it’s radioactive.

So Iran is throughly alienated itself from the West (including Europe) and the only other countries left are Russia or China who both keep Iran at multiple arms lengths away. Iran’s foreign policy has been schizophrenic and incoherent since Solemani died. Once it lost its foreign legions (HZ, Hamas, and others) it became critically vulnerable and in the state we find today.

No negotiations
No Nukes
No War
“Strategic patience”

Dumbest strategy in Iranian history. Which is saying something considering we had the Qajar’s to royally shoot ourselves in the foot for so long.

Whether he wrote it or not , does not matter . The analysis is more plausible than the crowd yammering Iran is at it’s weakest point of the past 47 years.

What is the difference between Iran and the Persian Gulf vassal states, including Turkey? Iran decides its internal and external policies That is it . Otherwise, there would be no reason for American hostility towards Iran. Americans don’t give a shit about democracy or human rights . They want to control Iran’s resources.

When read the original contract Mohammed Reza Pahlavi agreed to, you understand the importance of what is really at stake .

“Rationale for the intervention included Mossadegh's socialist rhetoric and his nationalization, without compensation, of the oil industry which was previously operated by the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (which later changed its name to The British Petroleum Company) under contracts disputed by the nationalists as unfair. A particular point of contention was the refusal of the Anglo-Iranian Oil company to allow an audit of the accounts to determine whether the Iranian government received the royalties it was due. Intransigence on the part of the Anglo-Iranian Oil company led the nationalist government to escalate its demands, requiring an equal share in the oil revenues. The final crisis was precipitated when the Anglo-Iranian oil company ceased operations rather than accepting the nationalists' demands.”

Khamenei’s decision not to test the bomb is a big blunder which puts Iran in the semi-sovereign state category. I believe that Iran has the bomb and when the time comes they will show their hand . Khamenei or whoever is running the country is making a big mistake to use American aggression as the excuse to show their hand . If they survive the war, Iran will no longer be a nuclear threshold state.

There are a lot of moving variables here in the US. DJT is a lame duck and his approval ratings are a disaster . At this point , he is setting himself and his family up for a favorable future with his masters as long as he does not end up in prison. No one knows if he will cave to the pressure to start the war . MAGA is dead.
