Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

And what was actually done about anti-idf protection for Iran in previous period? What advantages saa air defense provided to Iranian air defense?
Problem for idf was not Syrian air defense, but distance and logistical base around Persian Gulf....
Concern is Hezbollah and how to keep corridor Tehran-Beirut functional for supplies to Hezbollah....
Problem for Israel is retaliation from Iran proxies if Israel attacks Iran.

Syria... downed.
Lebanon Hezbollah... Half downed.

It only remains Iraq shiites militias as some threat.

What does it matter if Iran recognises the entity anyway?

The benefits are almost nil and it would be seen as another traitor Muslim nation like the Turks and Arabs.

Iran is rich in oil/gas, has large agricultural resources and now it will save billions every year from not having to fund some of the former members of the "Axis of Resistance".

It will probably never give up on Hezbollah but even they will get less funding as the emphasis will be on survival and no longer being a threat to the entity.

Saving billions every year and economic reforms at home would be more than sufficient for Iran to recover till China rises enough to almost eliminate western bullying.
Recognizing Israel would probably provide a huge diplomatic breakthrough that would allow the lifting of sanctions on Iran and a long term truce so Iran can focus on nation building.

Sure Irans name will be tarnished but at this point, even the Palestinians spit at Iran, so what does it have to lose? Arabs will hate Iran either way.

Iran used to recognise the entity before 1979 revolution and Iran is the only Muslim country in ME, apart from Turkey, that Zio-US respects.

Allowing Iran to develop and one day "de recognise" and try again to destroy the entity is not part of the plan.

They are trying to cut Iran down to size now and will then go after the Turks using the Kurdish card.

Do you think that will stop Israel? That will give them a reason to attack more and sooner.
I said in response to Israeli attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities, if it ever came down to that. Read carefully what I wrote.

You're telling me that after Israel bombs Iranian nuclear facilities and Iran won't respond again?

Assad sold out by his generals.

Should we believe in tweets?
What about Hama?
What about Homs?

I knew since back in early 2023 that the rebels were far more stronger then SAA. All tho they were always stronger but they were never organized the rebels up until the ceasefire.

Their ranks increased where everyone got NATO strandard training HTS had 120.000 only in Idlib by making everyone join their ranks or get expelled from Idlib they had no choice.

The Turkish supported SNA had 100.000 forces up in the north.

They started to manufactor their own weapons armor trucks, drones, electronic jammers etc etc.

They become more professional..

They are not comparable to weed smoking SAA and they were on drugs, low moral, probably outnumbered in the last war. But before ceasefire SAA had more numbers but the ceasefire increased their numbers as many return from Turkey. The reason Aleppo fell so quick is because of jamming. They jammed the entire communications. The general couldn´t reach his forces or know about what is going on in the ground.

The recent the war was decided so quick is due to 3 things mainly.

1. The Rebels were better trained after the ceasefire (Before that they were ragtag civilians who picked up arms and fought Assad but not post ceasefire)

2. Better armed conventionally with better drones and even equipped with night visions but mostly I would say the drones may difference

3. tactics they knew how to enter fortified ciites easy and breach the defense by first softening the SAA frontlines with gazlions of Drones and the Russians themselves said they didn´t knew how to deal with the rebels new drones that overwhelmed their defenses

On December 13, the Iranian government reached an agreement with the IAEA to strengthen monitoring of its nuclear facilities in Fordu.
It is game set, and the reformist government seems to be choosing to surrender to the U.S. military, as expected.
Iran's only remaining diplomatic card, the last resort to protect the country, is about to be lost.

That's Mt Hermon, Israel.

That's going to be the tallest mountain of Israel now. Israel will forever have an eagle eye view over Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.

Mount Hermon Syria

Considering the Super Sonic Missiles which can fly over Mount Hermon and availability of Satellites you don't need control of a Mountain Top to feel secure

Iran if the wanted they could likely strike anywhere in Israel at will

Russians are also staying and keeping their basis as well

Turkey well they did their thing with Assad but in end they are just trying to return the refugees back to Syria

  • Gollan heights are irrelevant
  • Mount Hermon is irrelevant

Just matter of will power - if Iran feels inclined to respond or , let Syria play out naturally post Assad

Iran had a tactical advantage (Super Sonic Missiles) but showed restrain and calm and enabled Israel to regroup
  • Iran's restrained and good will gesture was their weakness

Iran wanted to go route of United Nation and Mediators (Conventional approach to mend ties)

Israel on other hand , is using heavy weaponry since start without any regard for human life

The mentality is what slowed down Iran from attaining maximum benefits

Israel : Gained some cookie points land grab
Israel :
  • Lost 160+ Nations backing in United Nation
  • Became isolated after Golan height fiasco

In a way Iran still won

Syria was always a no factor as they never did much
Bahsar Al Assad was just a eye surgeon , pretending to be Dictator

100%

Syria's fall might actually be a hidden blessing for Iran. Iran can make peace with Israel and focus on its own development. Iran has the potential to be one of the richest countries in the world with its oil wealth, high technical abilities, geographic position, cultural wealth and a wide range of industries. The arch of resistance was draining Iran and for what? To rescue the ungrateful Palestinians? Even Hamas came out in support of HTS so what are you fighting for exactly? I've never seen a country fight for people who hate them, it doesn't make sense.
Iran can make peace with the west and america since it on another continent. Peace with Israel ? Hell no. They attacked us. We shud let Israel be thats all. Non intervention agreement through back channels

I absolutely don't believe that. Assad was loyal to the core

I don’t know if Assad was disloyal or otherwise. But specifically If you read this story, nowhere does it suggest disloyalty.

It says that Israel was in communication with the Syrian government and most of it was threats.

Governments talk to each other all the time. Iran talks to Saudi Arabia for that matter. India and Pakistan. One could go on.

It’s basically a sensationalist headline.
