While iran could use a modern IFV for its ground forces. It’s peculiar they would go to China to import when the domestic capability already exists for such a project.

We shall see if this turns out to be true. But Iran’s APC and IFV force is sore need of upgrade.

MOD ammo production. Interesting USA made tooling (Hernon Sureshot):

Not sure why they are buying from Russia when we produce the Toophan MRAP.

Hopefully they got them cheaper. Toophan seem to mostly used by the PMF. Could be that production is not enough to supply the allies and Iran proper forces so priority is given to them. Russia can't really start sending Russian MRAP's to Iranian allies I'm thinking. So it's easier to send to Iran and free up Iranian supplies so those can sent to others. Hopefully this is the case. Otherwise it does appear to be a waste.

Do you seriously think that the Iranians produced the Toophan? When I saw the first vehicles, I felt very uncomfortable because I already worked in metallurgy when I was younger and I do not believe at all that it was Iran that manufactured this. Too perfect as a replica, I say no! There are many lies about the sanctions in Iran and many Iranians suspect it

iran can produce super advanced F-4SM+++ but not simple MRAP?

you don't know the subject, move on. Between improvements to the F-4 that are real and that copy very exactly in the smallest detail of the Toophan, there is a big difference. I was in the middle of metallurgy and what I saw of the sudden appearance of the Toophan in Iran, I told myself that it was not normal and I maintain it. As it is not normal to find a lot of European products, from the USA in Iran. I saw reports on Iran and even Iranians say that there are lies about the said sanctions on Iran.

And what was the last innovation of Iran in the field before the arrival and the said arrival of new toophan? For me, the leap of innovation in such a perfect way in detail is almost impossible! No no it is not easy to reproduce a perfect copy of a machine like that. Get out of your childhood with your paper planes, it is not real life!

Where were these imported from?

Iran is perfectly capable of making an MRAP. Besides, although it's clearly based of the Streit Typhoon, Toofan is not a 1 to 1 copy, there are minor differences most notable in the front of the vehicle. So either Streit made a custom version for Iran or it is made in Iran.

NO!
That is to say MRAP on your photos dates from 2020 and more but the Toophan came out in 2016. So show me the MRAPs before 2016

looks too heavy , i think its better to use smaller missile like almas or reduce the number of missiles to 4, 6x shafaq weigh about 300kg
a load consist of 8x almas on external pylons and 2x shafaq on internal one is 100kg lighter and gave the helicopter more fire power while keeping its engagement range
