Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

In terms of overall missile tech:

1. China = US > small lead for China as it has successfully developed HGV.

2. Russia

3. India = Iran > Iran leads in SAMs and India in SLVs.
In my opinion, you should replace the number 1 and 2

Russia is still the best in terms of ballistic missiles.

I am talking about overall missile tech.

That is why Iran and India are matched at No. 3.

Russia is behind the US and China for sure when you look at the whole range of missile technologies. US and China have better ABM radars and electronics.

What a RLG (Ring Laser Gyroscope looks like).

seems nothing happened unless today is the day

Seems so. Iran has blown thru NOTAMs before. So if nothing happens today it wouldn’t be unprecedented.

Or whatever was tested was not successful. That has also happened usually related to space launches. So unless someone buys some overhead footage of Shahrud for the last week we won’t know if something exploded on the pad.

Lastly it could have been successful but not announced to public. Even the K-4 launch was blurry footage rather than official media.

Remember no Iranian official talked about the mysterious rocket/missile that was filmed traveling across Iran earlier this month. That is in itself telling, especially when they will usually comment on “explosions or anti aircraft fire” in random towns.

Tested Iranian ICBM/IRBM seems to be based upon following I am writing the technology demonstrated so far in brackets:

Solid Boost Stage (Raafe Engines used Ghaem-100 SLV)
Liquid 2nd Stage (Generic)
PBV (Radial RCS controlled Post Boost Vehicle of Khorramshahr-4)

The range will be something like 7-8K KM but my opinion is that more apogee for high burnout V to defeat ABM shields should be part of this tech. Our conflicts are more regional then anything.

I hope you are not serious, really India = Iran

tell me that when iran has an actual modern A2A missile (and I am not even counting the likes of Astra MK 3)

As for SAMs tell me about who leads that field after reading about these bad boys https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_Ballistic_Missile_Defence_Programme

Oh and did I mention that the biggest diameter rocket motor Iran has is just 1.25m where as India did that In the 2000s with Agni 2
Currently we are at 2m and will be at 2.25m in a few years with K-6

You are confusing technological progress with use by armed forces which is a very bad metric,
Iran has no other choice but to rely on it's indigenous capability to stand against the Zionists where as in India our armed forces have the luxury of importing foreign arms in exchange of foreign passports for their kids

Iran has battlefield tested high precision systems. India (and most others including China) have ZERO in that area. So yes Iran, is far ahead of India in these systems.
