Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

I do not assume that. obviously saturation strikes will have better success, but that's true with any type of missile.

much more economical if we can use fewer missiles that defeat interceptors rather than resorting to massive saturation strikes to go missile for missile with the USA + Israel (if we must, we can do this with old stocks of Shahab-3 / Ghadr rather than newer missiles like Kheibar Shekan).
Your suggestion herr doesn't make sense to me because it implies using missiles like aircraft, which they are not. Missiles HAVE to hsve volume in their usage and production to be effective, period. Using 1 missile like 1 aircraft- all careful and sensitive is counter productive. Voluminous missile use overwhelms all western defenses eventually and its a winning strategy-look at Ukraine today.

I encourage you to read the analysis in full before offering your own
If Iran's strikes were so inaccurate, then why did Israel ask US govt, which asked google and maxar to hide satellite photos of its bases like tel norf base for months? If those Iranian missiles were so inaccurately, they should have missed many Israeli targets, leaving thosw Israeli targets "untouched".

You also need to be more discerning with which sources to believe- Iran has done many many missile tests that demonstrated accuracy- you didn't question them then, so why believe Israeli lies and manipulation now? Finally if those Iranian strikes were sooo inaccurate, why did Israel have to retaliate against Iran for them ?
Iran hit Israel in a painful way in tp1 and tp2, the only thing Iran worries about with additional strikes on Israel is US attacking it in retaliation and starting a ear Iran isn't ready for now.

I believe they hit something good at Tel Nof and had 1-2 good hits at Nevatim (mainly the soft hangars). a hard hangar was hit at Nevatim too but the warhead must have malfunctioned because the impact did negligible damage and did not penetrate the concrete roof

I don't deny c. 3 accurate hits, but from 180 missiles that's a terrible return

at 1500km range? I don't think so. in war conditions? definitely not.

so why believe Israeli lies and manipulation now?
if I believed Israeli lies I would tell you Israel's reprisal attack destroyed all of Iran's air defences. I never said such a ridiculous thing. I believe what the evidence suggests

Finally if those Iranian strikes were sooo inaccurate, why did Israel have to retaliate against Iran for them ?
because they are the more powerful entity and the more powerful entity does not tolerate an enemy firing 180 ballistic missiles at it, even if the damage is relatively light (zero casualties)

Iran hit Israel in a painful way in tp1 and tp2,
we would be better served to accept hard truths than to cling to what we want to be true. Israel precisely struck buildings and destroyed them across our most strategic sites and killed 5 Iranians and we did not even respond. TP1 and TP2 clearly did nothing to deter Israel despite how 'painful' and effective you seem to think they were.

Western media always publish nonsense about Iran. They are not reliable sources.

You are right.

Look at the “nonsense” western media claimed:

*sabotage of its nuclear faculties (3 times)
*hundreds of strikes on Iranian forces in Syria
*murder of haniyeh in an IRGC security compound
*murder of Fakhrizadeh via a satellite operated AI turret outside Tehran
* murder of Solemani on ally soil
*baseless warnings of infiltrating HZ and they would destroy the leadership
*large scale cyberwarfare
*bombs planted in security devices that blinded an Iranian ambassador and injured thousands others
*murder of nuclear scientists and high ranking officers
*blowing up our consulate building in Damascus
*blowing up military building inside iran via quadcopters and sabatoge
*attacking Iranian ships at sea
*……….etc.

Oh wait all these actually happened

I think that there is going to be some kind of strategic relationship agreement signed between Iran and Russia in this case.

Arman export is surprising as Iran would want to keep as many of these anti-ballistic missile systems for itself and only just been inducted last year.

This is a bigger deal than BMs I would argue, especially that Iranian air defense systems have outperformed PMU-2 in the recent "Israeli" attack.

Do you reckon this deal will include a nuclear umbrella element?

Hope so......if so check mate move

Putin remembers those who helped him and will repay Iranian support over Ukraine.Iran really massively helped Russia in its hour of need.

Not sure about nuclear deterrent but Russia in return will probably give Iran access to its fighter aircraft, missile technologies, military satellite guidance correction and intelligence.

Clip of missile base :
was deep enough for Israel to have to resort to special ops to neutralise it rather than from the air. interesting

we also saw Hezbollah's missile bases underground in the Bekaa were still active even after one year of all out bombing from Israel (although they were not successful in firing many missiles, but that was likely for inventory / human capital reasons)

Don’t understand why there was not a special protection force of dozens of soldiers permanently assigned to this facility.
