There is no WW2 era parts installed on any of those ships besides your claim that Iran use the below version of Oerlikon 20mm, Iran uses post 60s Oerlikon with optics, you are going to tell us that Somalian pirates will destroy the ship in night time by shooting an RPG at the warship?

and how many time somebody must tell you the oerlikon on Alborz is still Vietnam era oerlikon and no matter what its not stabilized or remotely controlled , the only useful weapon there in that case is Kamand CIWS not that Oerlikon you like so much

Exactly. For that reason I think it is not good to deploy IRGCN ships at the area. It would escalate conflict.

Anyway. For not posting twice; the actual situation of Zagros/Talaiyeh/Shiraz it is really irritating. It is not even fitted with equipment!. It took more than 4 years for building it. Mi-28 could easily carry 8 of them on each pylon in the place of Ataka, 16 of them at least, i bet they are way more lightweight than Ataka or Vikhr, there you could even put 4 air to air missiles also

Probably from a floating base ship. They already stuck a 3rd Khordad system once on a ship.



Putting a TEL or a canister launcher is not difficult as long as it can stabilize itself on the deck.
