Tell me about it. Imagine losing Shahid Soleimani before it even sees any action.Sad state of affairs for Iranian Naval forces (both IRGCN and IRIN).
No sign of further Submarine development. Fateh class inductions has been slowed.
No sign of supersonic AShCM. Eghtedar was shown but no sign of deployment. They are still firing old Noors and Ghaders for cameras.
No sign of Hypersonic/Near Hypersonic AShBM.
Entire Surface fleet is effectively naked from above due to lack of IRIAF cover.

I thought a ballistic missile sub was under development. A submarine able to launch ballistic missiles or cruise missiles would be of immense value.
If true, at least it is some hopeful news. You see IRGCAF's strike at Haifa's Bazan Oil Refinery came just after Israeli attack at South Pars. After that both sides just did not hit eachother oil n gas infrastructure. So there is a possibility that IRIN and IRGCN were not touched by Israel out of fear of IRGCAF's attack at Israeli naval infrastructure
Thats too bad. Even North Korea has SSBNs, I am sure they are willing to help Iran develop one.Iran has not shown even a hint of SLBM capability, SLCM capability exist though but short ranged, nothing strategic.

If they are on board, the captain has one more option and two alternatives in case of need: to use them or not to use them. They look great. While I can understand why they have been equipped with a helipad, I cannot understand the heavy weaponry loaded in Kurdistan. Anyway even belng different ships some standarization can be seen, which is good and a good trend. Thanks for sharing.
Funny thing is I don’t know why they haven’t tried to make these ships equipped with anti aircraft systems seems logical if these ships are used mainly as support to actually be able to protect ships that are meant for offensive capabilities while being able to protect these ships they’re big enoughIf they are on board, the captain has one more option and two alternatives in case of need: to use them or not to use them.
If, on the other hand, you do not have them on board, you have no choice and no alternatives.
Therefore, I personally would like to have them on board.
At the moment, apart from one photo, they are all of poor quality, so it is difficult to assess what other type of weaponry has been installed.Funny thing is I don’t know why they haven’t tried to make these ships equipped with anti aircraft systems seems logical if these ships are used mainly as support to actually be able to protect ships that are meant for offensive capabilities while being able to protect these ships they’re big enough

Well the conflict with Israel and America has shown that they need a large force from anti craft spread out on land and sea and their air which need 24/7 awac support on multiple fronts I’m surprised they haven’t tried to at least convert their simorgh aircraft to become an awac like e 2 Hawkeye it could be deployed over the sea and landAt the moment, apart from one photo, they are all of poor quality, so it is difficult to assess what other type of weaponry has been installed.
I am curious about what might be contained in the area I have circled in red, including its underlying structure.
