Spot on, where are the secret services who protect the president and keep an eye on his movement? They will know his location and check the weather before giving go ahead. President may be getting attacked by a militia for assassination and security is no where to be seen so I assume they have their protocol in place. Quiet shocking that a president has gone missing but no help is there till 12+ hours.

• Solemani father of Iran’s foreign legion and architect of Axis of Resistance - ignored security protocols routinely and was caught using Nokia phones as his method of communication and loved going to frontlines of battles when safety was not assured.

The list goes on, but this type of thinking just runs in Iranian circles and usually they end up dead sooner rather than later.

Tonight is Imam Reza's birthday and it is a celebration in all of Iran.

It was horrendous conditions for the helicopter and this perhaps will give us clues. It’s disappointing that there are so many speculative sources. What is concerning is no signal - no communication and no sign for so many hours. Sadly
It’s not looking good.
