What I never understood about the Iranians is how they can even vie for regional leadership while being so grossly incompetent at security and basic safety. Iranian generals dropped like flies in Syria, Iranian soldiers died by the tens of thousands for a few meters of soil in the 1980s, Iranian nuclear scientists seem to die off a lot, buildings collapse regularly in Iran, their lakes dry up every year, and now both their president and foreign minister, along with two other top officials, fly in the same helicopter through low visibility conditions in the mountains and die.

Clean your room before worrying about others, Iran.

It is all the fault of Iran of course, they are allowed to fully trade goods accross the world and make massive amounts of money, yet they fail to do so! They should let Israel and its allies operate freely in the region and say nothing as the good victims that they are!

Also Iran did a war to gain not even 10m of Iraq, Iraq didn't tried that before, they were legitimately defending against Iran and not attacking (and they didn't lost tens of thousands soldiers by trying so!)

The terrain is obviously a nightmare, not to mention the adverse weather conditions. They're dealing with a plethora of adversity I don't blame them for taking this long. This is not an easy operation by any means.
