Condolences to the Iranian people for the loss of not only their president but their FM and other top officials.

The VP holds the post for 6 months and the Iranian have to hold elections; so around November 20th.

Thai couldn’t have come at a worse time. Not only due to the war in Gaza but the succession plans for the supreme leader are also in flux, supposedly.

In Islamic way there is always solution. In Iranian system they always have backup in leadership. Surly a great lose. I believe next war is going to be ruthless

And Raisi was supposedly next inline to take Khamenei's place, wasn't he? I'm wondering is Iran's policy the standard like most countries with presidents who pass that the vice president automatically assumes the position? So it would be Mohammad Mokhber of course. How popular is he and would he get reelected? What about Ahmedinejad? I know he's a current of the member of the Expediency Discernment Council and from what I remember, he was somewhat popular but not among the clerics, right? Would there be a possibility that he would come back into the picture?

The convoy that was heading to Azerbaijan consisted of three helicopters, not one helicopter..

The second thing is that the helicopter fell without knowing its exact location, nor did the two helicopters that were with the Iranian president’s helicopter land near the scene of the accident..

The GPS device is not available with a head of state. This is strange!

The presidential helicopter is the only one that fell under mysterious circumstances and its location was unknown..

VIP transport is a specialized mission, that should only be done by the best of the best and in a way that minimizes risks.

Also remember how Kobe Bryant’s death in heavy fog (said to be as thick as milk) just makes visibility nearly impossible, and should mean a flight should be postponed.

BeiDou-3 (third-generation BeiDou), provides full global coverage for timing and navigation, along with Russia's GLONASS, I don't think Iran uses European Galileo, and the US's GPS. If they using GPS then they are the biggest fools on planet
