IRGC tested its cold gas thruster in this launch. The satellite will be able to shift its orbit and its phase in space.

An other step towards GEO orbits. When the tests are concluded, IRGC would be able to prepare for using bigger engines and launch heavier payloads.

4-6 more space launches planned for next 6 months ...

Zoljanah and Simorgh are likely contenders, and Qaem-105 too


After every successful launch they promise (ISA or IRGC) we will see a major uptick in launches then there is silence till another 9-18 months when they do another token launch.

The onus is on them to prove it rather than merely claim they will like they have for last 10 years between these two agencies (ISA and IRGC-spaceforce[SF])

According to sardar Ja'farabadi, Qaem-105 will be tested next year. Qaem-120 will be able to carry the heaviest known satellites and Nour-4 SLV is in development phase.
