Seems to be Armenian origin.

The 'iän' at the end is incidental and NOT Armenian but a common Persian plural suffix ('än'). 'Pezeshk' means physician in Persian. 'Pezeshki' means 'of physician' or 'physician-like'. 'Pezeshkiän' means 'of physicianS'.

'än' plural suffix is often interchangeable with 'hä': 'dokhtar/än/hä' (daughters/girls), maradom/än/hä' (peoples), 'adami/än/hä' (of/peoples), 'baradar/än/hä' (brothers), 'khahar/än/hä' (sisters), 'sardamdar/än/hä' (leaders), 'darjehdar/än/hä' (officers), etc. The usage/preference of one over the other is mostly stylistic or driven by popular usage.
