Thanks for sharing. I did never see any versión with radar or IR sensors aboard.
But again, check carefully, those sensors are just suitable just for Airborne surveillance. Electro-optic surveillance require a complete IRST turret (traditional UAV IRST stabilized cameras) or newest aircrafts two or more windows distributed alongside fuselage to host Hi res wide range IR/EO sensors like F35's EOTS and DAS.
That radar and that EO sensors just can scan a small vision field in front of the UAV.
But again thanks for sharing.
It could be Iran is trying to pick up radar radiation signatures and EO/IR signatures to feed into targeting warheads of Persian Gulf 1&2 missiles and Mobin.
That is the only way Iran can use ASHBMs accurately hit US warships. Even if China provided access to Beidou, you still need the warhead to either match EO/IR signatures during terminal phase against the ocean background or go after the radiation sources and act as an anti radiation missile.
But I also think an unreleased Iranian drone is an equal possibility. Likely using an OWJ engine as its power source.
Can it be Qaher?
It’s possible, although i would expect a full version Qaher to match the flight speeds of an F-5 as they are similar in size and power plants.
Whatever this drone is. Operating at 30,000-32,000 feet is pretty high for a MALE UAV. That’s basically the upper limit. Which means it’s sensor suite must be pretty advanced.
