It is sad to see this comment. I thought you post great in the Israel-Palestine conflict threat.
Unfortunately, this forum's Pakistani members' certain political tilt has distorted the international members' understanding about Pakistani foreign policy and its military; I try not to engage with those members as there is not much common ground between me and them when it comes to Pakistani politics; I used to engage with them in the old PDF but I have learned since then not to.
Pakistan is no US lackey! Pakistan even cut off supplies to NATO troops which were deployed in Afghanistan AND Pakistan sheltered and funded the Afghan Taliban which actually killed the NATO forces for two decades and for that Pakistan paid a heavy price on its 'image' and even blockade of Coalition Support Funds and raised threats from India with Western help. It was the same Pakistan which resisted the GCC/American pressure to help them against the Houthis and the same Pakistan which stood its ground against the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and the same Pakistan which continued to recognize the Assad regime despite Pakistan's allies like Turkey and GCC targeting Assad. It was the same Pakistan which resolutely resisted getting involved in the Iran-Iraq war of the 80s and even tried hard to make peace between them. And Pakistan's overall security policies don't change much--the policies are to focused on India/Kashmir because that's where Pakistan's survival is at stake; there is continuity of policies in Pakistan for decades. It is generally sound foreign policy except for the blunder of aiding the Americans against the Soviets in the 70s--but then a chunk of the world, including Iran, did the same.
Having said that, Pakistan has to appear to remain somewhat neutral about Iran-Arab issues because Pakistan's trade/commerce with the West/GCC; there are shocking consequences for Pakistan otherwise given Pakistan's lack of resources, large population, AND a hostile powerful country to Pakistan's east which is ready to pounce on Pakistan given any opportunity.
