Is the US Ready for War with China?

Looking at what is happening in the Persian Gulf now — blocking straits and bombing neighboring countries — if the situation develops further and seriously affects the global economy, then as long as China and the United States, perhaps with Russia as well, reach a consensus, it would not be impossible to drop one or two nuclear bombs on the Persian Gulf.
You da man , a strategic thinker par excellence.

The world does indeed need a world policeman. China is not interested in that role, and only the United States is the most suitable for it.

Without the role of a world policeman, regional powers would block trade, start wars, bully the weak, and the world would turn into a nightmare.
China doesn't want to be the world policeman and doesn't want a self-proclaimed bullying world policeman. China wants multi-polar world.

Since when in history apart from modern times was there a world policeman?

We need multi polarity it keeps the "policeman" in check.

In the past, technology was not advanced. But modern technology has already turned the Earth into a global village.
In today’s era, the world does indeed need a world policeman.

There was technology in the past too, what kept nations alive was trade, understanding and a common cause to survive. The world policeman has gone mad so what do you do?

Thats why multi polarity is needed otherwise unchecked power corrupts at the highest levels.

Today is also the most glorious era in human history. Technology is still advancing, people’s living standards are still improving, and they are at a historical peak. What is bad about that?

Technology isnt the problem, absolute power in hand of a single nation is.

There is nothing wrong with your desire for multipolarity, but you need to achieve it through your own efforts.

In today’s world, the United States basically belongs to the first tier — and it is the largest power in that tier. China belongs to the first tier.
Russia belongs to the second tier, and the European Union also belongs to the second tier.

In the Russia-Ukraine war, although China and the United States each have their own leanings, both have not become especially deeply involved.

If the Muslim world wants to attain such a status, it needs to win it through struggle, not through opportunism or by relying on help from others.
Regarding the U.S.-Iran war, Iran considers itself very powerful, and other countries, including China, also wish Iran very powerful. In that case, let Iran rely on its own efforts to fight for the role and status it wants to obtain.
Thats why I believe in multi-polarity.

The US was in a strong position to take the mantel from the UK as world policeman, Europe was in tatters had to borrow lots of money from the US, the US was the land of opportunity, a nation of immigrants which through its laws made the US what it is today. Add the vast resources, land size protected by oceans and the dollar being reserve currency.

The future who knows what happens, China wont be a world policeman it will stay as a regional power, you only have to look at its history its preferred it that way.

If a third pole forms its hard to know, if you follow Islamic eschatology which I dont think you do, then from a muslim perspective we do expect in the future for a power to emerge. But that wont be a nation state.

based on what we have seen, USA is not even ready for a war with North Korea leave China for now
All I can say is that you are only seeing a fraction of US military power in use.

What have we seen of China’s experience in military operations? None. All we see is the potential, not the actual use, of China’s military. Let's see how their weapons work in an actual war.

Remember, China is supposed to invade and capture Taiwan, but its military is green. And it doesn't help matters that Xi is busy purging his military.

Some idiot from outside, who knows nothing about the situation in China, is recklessly passing judgment on China.

China’s goal is not to invade and occupy Taiwan. If it did that, all China would gain would be a useless, devastated wasteland.

China’s goal is the peaceful reunification of Taiwan — a prosperous Taiwan with a thriving economy.
