Yeah, the 'unnerved' Iranians refused to talk anymore and closed down the Strait again. After that, grabbed two ships. Actions speak louder than the words or 'think more'.
The Blockade was indeed a blunder and that blunder will be reversed soon, even if not announced, to make way for the upcoming dialog.

They don't have the missiles or right aircraft for it. One of the cons of having a toy military with the primary purpose of parades

Their pilots can't fly the way USAF or IAF does. They will get shot down. They are also well under the range of Iranian missiles and shaheds. It'll be a total shitshow for them.

So Iran might have most of the world hostage right now for closing the SOH - but if I was Iran I would do exactly the same thing.

They need to pile up so much pressure with everyone not just with the US so it pushes the world to act concertedly and make a lasting deal because no one will want a depression again. Unfortunately not one country is willing to stand up to the US, so only way it can happen is either they all band together with or against Iran.
