I don’t think that was true but the truth is Hamas lost all of their negotiating chips Bibi and his cronies won’t care if Hamas returns 3 dead bodies or not if they believe Hamas is withholding them purposefully will bomb them if they can’t find them who cares is what they say behind closed doors

Well I’m sure there has been back door discussions but honestly like Hezbollah many Hamas leaders have gone underground or cut communications I was very surprised when top Hamas men got struck down after fighters supposedly attacked idf they need keep a distance from everyone and everything if there comes another large by Israel same with Hezbollah if anything happens damn say with the Syrians Houthis Iranians it’s only a matter of time

Except not true. Hamas leaders , the ones left alive did everything they could. Even Al Qassam Brigades across yellow lines targeted and killed Israeli IDF forces. Israelis began bombing civilians again across Gaza.

Some of the fighters Hamas was able to secretly evacuate.

Now this is Hamas which was targeted by the US/UK/Israel for last two years with more force than the worst conflicts in history. A Hamas that has no weapons left.
