On the eve of Eid al-Adha, the occupation continues to commit its massacres in Gaza with shelling and fire, targeting civilians. Women and children are killed even as they prepare and shop for Eid. In contrast, the Islamic world stands by watching the scenes of killing and destruction, to the point where silence is present where a stance, a word, and a prayer are expected.

It is a shame for a nation with its history, weight, and status to stand silent in the face of such killing and suffering, while Gaza alone faces this extended pain. As the owner of the keffiyeh said: "You are our adversaries before God on the Day of Judgment."
