Looks like the ceasefire is official with the war criminal now giving speeches.
With the reputation of the Zionist entity being in shatters on a global scale, probably more than ever, even within the US the tide is slowly but steadily changing, now is the perfect opportunity for all Palestinian political factions to join hands and work out the most realistic and beneficial plan that would ensure a Palestinian statehood.
There is and has always been full backing for this from the Arab and Muslim world, the non-aligned world and major powers like China and Russia. I even believe that India supports a Palestinian state, at least they did for decades historically during the Cold War.
Now the majority of the Western world, excluding AIPAC/Zionist-controlled/influenced US, are even doing the same.
I can't think of a single major country, other than Israel and the US (for now) itself, that is actively working against a Palestinian statehood.
Even changes within Israel itself could occur. I don't think that most Israelis want perpetual war long-term and pursuing unrealistic ideas such as Greater Israel that will never occur. The end of the war (hopefully permanently) could also end up toppling the Israeli regime and getting Netanyahu persecuted domestically and maybe even internationally (ICJ, unlikely).
I know that Fatah is corrupt and Mahmoud Abbas is absolutely useless by large (I don't think that I will offend any Palestinians here by saying this) but the likes of Husam Zomlot (great rhetorically, great grasp of English) gaining power within West Bank/Gaza and pursuing the Palestinian cause internationally would give a much bigger outreach for the cause. Hamas/Fatah/other Palestinian groups don't need to appeal to Arabs or Muslims by large, they need to appeal to Westerners, in particular Americans in order to change political opinion on the ground in the US and eventually ensure US support for a Palestinian state.
A charismatic leader can do wonders if given publicity and space to excel in. Many conflicts have ended partially due to this. Cannot be underestimated.
@Falcon29 @Unknowntruth I would like to hear your opinions about this entire situation if you don't mind. No disrespect to anyone here but Palestinian opinions is what interests me the most for obvious reasons.
