Israel’s Genocide in Gaza | 2023- till present

Thread is a mess. If you're not in favor of violent terrorist groups you're instantly pegged as a Jew and a Zionist. Disgusting.

What is the definition of "losing"? In the short term, sure, Israel could just massacre all of Gaza and call it a victory - though even Israeli apologists in America warn against continuing in such a manner.

In the long run, Israel has lost its most powerful asset: The support of Americans. To put it crassly, all the racist old religious white men in positions of power in America, are going to die in a decade or so, to be replaced by a generation who grew up seeing Israeli atrocities unfold in front of them live on social media.

The state of Harvard and other elite educational institutions, for example, has set off alarm bells in zionist apologist camps.

Without American support, Israel is just a radical jewish terrorist militia outfit which controls a thin strip of land in the levant, and takes pride in recording and publicising its atrocities - not much different to ISIS.

Great post. To add to the above - the psychological toll this war will take on the Israeli society itself. There are lot of left leaning Israelies who are realizing how barbaric they have been acting. A lot of Jews are already disassociating themselves from Israel in US and Canada.

As for the IDF soldiers who are busy dancing and making tiktoks, all while murdering innocent civilians, babies and gang raping women - once the heat of war cools down, they will pay the price. PTSD, depression, suicide will ravage this entire generation of Zionists In Sha Allah. They have already lost in the long run, and they just don't realize it yet. The more Palestinians they kill and the longer this war drags on, the worse it will be for the Zionists.

Everyone can see what you said:

"Zionism is a nationalist movement... I do not see why there is any reason to oppose a nationalist movement"

LOL. Please stop reading only a part of what I said that meets your prejudices. Given the definition to Zionism as I quoted above, that statement is correct, and does NOT make anyone a Zionist.

Further you ignored this part, AGAIN: Now, if Zionism, in your view, is something more than that definition, or if it has any views that advocate genocide of the Palestinian people, then I would oppose that, of course. But the grounds need to be established for that first.

Have you presented anything to consider more than the Wikipedia definition upon which I based that statement?

This is quite literally terrorism:

Israel is making things up. Gaza is for Palestinians and will always be.

Unfortunately, I cannot see the future as clearly or with such certainty as you seem to be sure of, so I cannot respond to such assertions at all. Sorry.
It is true there are many possible outcomes. But the above seems most likely, at the rate things are going now.

And if Pakistan or Jordan or Egypt had given 25,000 fighters perhaps Israel would have collapsed also. But I ask again: What country or organisation outside of Palestine has sacrificed more to fight Israel?
Iran and Hebollah are only giving the appearance of fighting to keep up the moral of the supporters that their rhetoric has created and to silence critics. Sending rockets against Israeli radar towers and camps is not war. They should fight a war like they fought before when Israel invaded Lebanon last time. That was war. If the Sunnis are doing nothing does it means that Iran has just to make the appearance of doing something?

we can ask Palestinians if they agree with your characterisation

@Falcon29 @Unknowntruth
Palestinians would disagree. Iran supports Hamas but does not make any requests of it. It's up to Hamas and the PA to make decisions within their framework in dealing with the ongoing occupation. Gaza and the West Bank are occupied and besieged and people are killed everyday. Palestinians are in a active conflict and struggle due to the war Israel is waging on a permanent basis.

US media never covers the occupation and only covers any Palestinian counter-strikes or diplomatic moves. It makes people think there are two separate nations and conflict broke out. When in reality Israel is waging a 24/7 war on Palestinians.

Please provide a reference that I can read. I referred to the Wikipedia definition above. May be you know of a better description that supports what you have said here?

Zionism is both nationalistic and religious movement.

Here is the definition from ADL - as pro-Zionist as one can get:

If you read through it, there several references to how it is a religious, nationalist and an ethnic movement. As the definition notes - "Zionism was also a cultural and national renaissance movement which sought to enable the Jewish people to revive their language, Hebrew, and reestablish self-determination over their traditions, culture, religion and education."

So yes, it is in essence a racist movement as well, as it excludes the Muslim Arabs who live inside Israel.

It is true there are many possible outcomes. But the above seems most likely, at the rate things are going now.

I can accept that such changes are a cause for concern for Israel, certainly. But, as always, the only problem with the future is predicting it.

US sanctions against terrorist 'settlers' aren't even going to be enforced:
