Yup!
While we knew Assad was not a saint, but we also knew toppling Assad was a top Israeli priority for years and no thanks to the short-sighted freedom lovers, Syria is set back decades and lost a lot of territory.
The focus should have been join hands with Assad to help Palestinians, Lebanon and get the Golan Heights back but then some people, to quote @tower9, can't see beyond their nose.

If you look at the crux of it all, racism is to blame. When one nation feel they should be given special treatment which is reinforced by the current major powers you end up in this situation.

Speechless at some of the logic shown by Arabs, Turks(yes Zio-US will be coming after them soon to cut them "down to size" using Kurds/sanctions) and also other random Muslim posters supporting the overthrow of Assad.

There is something called "time and place", and this was the worse time imaginable to overthrow Assad.

Correct, the United Nations Security Council needs to be reformed in this post Cold war, post Colonial, and post 9/11 era.

Absolutely! And it didn't take long to see where the new 'Freedom and Democracy' has led both Palestine, Lebanon, Syria and possibly more.
