I don't think a regional war would be good for Israel, as much as they are eager to 'bomb, bomb, bomb Iran', to quote Senator John McCain, the dead warmonger. Arabs states are very likely to take a strong stand against such an attack on Iran because Iran, while going down, will also destroy their infra and economies. So I predict should a a major war start against Iran, the Arabs nations would try very hard to stop that and if they can't stop that then Israel will not be spared.
And you'd notice there is not even a TOKEN sense of sadness from this White House, right?? Yes, I know Genocide Joe was a Genocide Joe, but his political base still had considerable pro Palestinian voices even in the US House and Senate. But what do we have now?? The problem as I see it, is that this has nothing to do with Hamas as we discussed earlier. Hamas is just used as an excuse. The goal of Zionists/Israel is to fully erase the Palestinians (which they do not consider as a separate Arab group but openly call as Saudi Arabian, Egyptian and Syrian migrants) as a people and Palestine as a concept. I am afraid that nothing will change if this viewpoint remains the majority viewpoint of Israelis. This was the same talking points (main ones) that they used to commit the Nabka in 1948. Their whole national history myth has been that they came to an almost empty land sparsely inhabited by Arabs from neighbouring states. Sure, Palestinians as a people are closely related to all neighbouring Arabs (hardly a surprise here) but to deny them their identity (against all historical and factual evidence) is just 1 of many attempts to erase Palestinian identity.
Do you agree that a huge part of the solution to this conflict lies in the US and the need of the American people and European people to rid themselves off Zionist dominance? I believe that even the most fanatical Zionists would behave in a more rational way if they knew that they had no backers that would be whitewashing their crimes constantly. They would very quickly, out of fear, change their tunes, I believe.
'But as far as immediate solutions for Palestinians (as in the establishment of a coherent Palestinian state), I unfortunately don't see it as being realistic in the nearby future. Not sure who could force this upon Israel/USA/West/NATO.
I wrote previously that if we had China and Russia fully on board, maybe it could be done but unfortunately they do no want any part of it and in the case of Russia, the Russian Jews have a big say in Russian politics and power circles.

The excuse (among nationalistic Turks and some non-nationalistic Muslim Turks) is that "Arabs" betrayed them which is nonsense. For starters it was the Young Turks themselves (based in Anatolia) who first began the nationalistic movement. In fact they made a coup and turned the Sultan into a mere puppet. Seeing this (the Ottoman entity turning into a more nationalistic Turkish state rather than prior times where it was mostly Islamic in nature - with minorities basically ruling themselves, including the parts of the Arab world that were nominally a part of the Ottomans), the Arabs themselves (far from all) had their own movement seeking greater influence and representation (which they had every right too being the largest ethnic group in the state and much of the land of said state being Arab).
But honestly this should not come as a surprise as the Turks themselves ended the Ottomans (the Ottomans were declining for centuries prior to that and quite frankly most of the Arab world under the Ottomans was living in darkness/regression/with zero progress), and what came afterwards was a total opposite of the Ottomans. So no wonder that the successors could not give a crap about Palestine. Ideologically and otherwise.
Only 80 + years after under Erdogan has there been a battle with Kemalism (in its purest form) and changes occurring (not long ago there were many anti-Muslim rules in place in Turkey). Now Erdogan/Turkey is looking out for their own interests and seeking to remain in NATO and potentially joining EU. I don't blame them, they are just looking after their own interests. Erdogan using Palestine/Muslims matters for political gains to make half of the Turks content (his voters) is just politics.
I don't have anything against Turkey or Turks (i consider them as close people to Arabs on many fronts and we have a long common history and millennia old ties to Anatolia as a region, genetic connection, cultural, linguistic, religious etc.) not to mention millions of Turkish Arabs.
In fact personally I see Turkey as the most important Muslim non-Arab partner in the region. For Arabs as a whole.
Now Arabs should not be relying on any foreigners and no foreigners will gift us anything and they are all looking for their own interests in the Arab world (naturally) so it is our own job to get our own house in order regardless of the enormous amount of outside meddling in our region.
But personally, I would not be bashing Turks with this (recognition of Israel) as no Turks today had anything to do with it (Turkey if I recall was ruled by the military junta back then/hardcore Kemalists) and quite frankly it would not change anything. I am not bashing Egypt or Jordan for the same thing either even though the context of their recognition was totally different.
In fact I don't think that bashing country x or y makes any sense at all. Let alone from diaspora Arabs/Muslims based in the West which is 1000 times worse than any Arab/Muslim nation in the region on this front which we are all aware of.
