HAMAS HAS ISSUED THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:

The Zionist occupation crimes continue against defenseless civilians in Gaza through the deadly aid distribution mechanism - now transformed into death traps operated by occupation forces with American cover. This systematic violence escalates daily massacres, exposing the criminal nature of this system.

While we strongly reiterate our condemnation of this criminal mechanism, we stress the urgent need to return to the UN-supervised aid distribution through specialized UN agencies.

The occupation's deliberate targeting of schools and displacement shelters results in daily fatalities and casualties among forcibly displaced families, flagrantly violating all international norms. Simultaneously, enemy aircraft continuously bomb hospitals and medical centers in systematic crimes aimed at destroying what is left of Gaza's collapsed healthcare system.

In addition to its starvation policy, the occupation army has escalated attacks on Gaza's few remaining water desalination plants, weaponizing thirst alongside hunger against millions of civilians. This intensifies the humanitarian catastrophe and adds another crime to the ongoing genocide.

The committing of mass murder, siege and starvation by war criminal Netanyahu government's place moral and legal obligations on the international community, including the Arab-Islamic nations, to take urgent action against these crimes that have been taking place for 21 months.

The so-called humanitarian aid sites operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) have become death traps for desperate Palestinian civilians rather than lifelines. Under the guise of distributing food and essential supplies, these sites have turned into militarised zones where Israeli forces routinely open fire on hungry Palestinians. According to the UN, over 600 civilians have been killed near these distribution points, not in chaotic stampedes but often in deliberate, unprovoked shootings by IDF soldiers. Witness testimonies and video evidence reveal Israeli forces targeting unarmed men, women, and children as they approach convoys, while GHF’s own contractors have also been accused of using live ammunition against the very people they claim to be helping.
Global humanitarian organisations are now demanding the complete dismantling of GHF’s operations in Gaza, calling them a "facade of relief masking a system of ethnic cleansing." More than 170 aid groups have signed a joint statement condemning the aid distribution model as unsafe, exploitative, and complicit in Israel's ongoing genocide of Palestinians. Reports suggest these sites are being weaponised—used as bait to gather large crowds before Israeli airstrikes or sniper fire. Instead of food, Palestinians are met with bullets. These are not aid zones; they are execution sites disguised under the banner of charity, and the world must no longer stay silent.
