Whether it is 500 or 5000, Israel knows that such a force causing its own citizens to live in constant fear as we have seen poses a real and present danger to its existence, just as Hamas knows Israel is trying to eliminate it as completely as it possibly can. Hence, both sides do see it as a struggle for the existence of their own side.

It's not true. Israeli's live in more fear from the housing costs. All people live in fear whether fear of health related problems or losing their job and loved ones. And the constant stresses of life. Somehow, Israelis get to commit a Holocaust because they deal with what everyone else does? Actually they have it much better. Okay then, I will try to think of the fear of being bombarded by rockets as just a stress after housing costs, health problems or losing a job. Thank you for explaining your priorities, but please do try and convince the Israelis that they should reprioritize according to your suggestions. It may not be easy, but that is just my guess.

We can't keep maintaining this facist religious fanatical colony at all costs. What do we have to choose between Armageddon or the supremacy of 7 million Jews living in occupied Palestine ? Is that what the world has come to? I will choose Armageddon. Until Jewish pride is struck down.

I can tell you what Israelis present in English and to Western media is miles different than what is talked about in their inner circle. They were expecting a Hamas counterstrike and knew they had it coming when their right wing extremist government began fanning the flames in Jerusalem and randomly assassinating people in Gaza unprovoked. They just didn't think Hamas would outmaneuver the Gaza southern command like they did. All that tells is Hamas has determined and competent special forces despise their constraints. Respect to Hamas.

UN aid chief: ‘attempts to sideline UNRWA must stop’​

Martin Griffiths, the United Nation’s Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, says Israel and its allies must stop their attempts to undermine the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA).

“UNRWA is the backbone of the humanitarian operation in Gaza. Any effort to distribute aid without them is simply doomed to fail,” he said in a post on X.
“No other agency has the same reach, experience or community trust needed to do the job.”

Top Israeli officials have said they wish to dismantle UNRWA on unsubstantiated charges that it works with and for Hamas across the Gaza Strip.

The goals here must be to do whatever it takes to be able to live in dignity and freedom as a people, and not have to choose between either of those choices. Surely, there is a middle way, as Muhammad PBUH quite often advised his followers as the best way. Surely.

The first step must be to help stop the carnage, then rebuild and figure out the way that will makes those goals realistically possible.

Calls for more protests in Jordan against Gaza fighting, Israel ties​

Activists in Jordan have called for further protests after days of demonstrations against the fighting in Gaza and Jordan’s peace treaty with Israel that have brought thousands onto the streets, AFP reports.
The group Jordanian Youth Gathering has urged people to return to the Israeli embassy in Amman “to support the resistance in Gaza and demand the cancellation of the Jordanian-Israeli peace treaty and cut all ties with Israel”.

I can respect your views about Hamas, no problem, without agreeing with them. But all of what you have said is in the past, and it has led us to what is now happening to the children. Any arguments about whose fault it is is meaningless until and unless their suffering is relieved first by whatever means possible, immediately. Why must they pay such a horrific prices for the decisions of others?
