In context of Gaza conflict seems UAE does have enough balls to make the Big call. However UAE , felt the French detaining a UAE citizen violates their Sovereignty

You need to differentiate between the masses... And the leadership.

I could post similar image from Malaysia and Indonesia and that thing wouldn't cancel the fact that the leadership in these countries are complicit.
