There is a context to what I said above: Two of my Pakistani friends think that Trump giving away Jerusalem and the Golan Heights to Israel wasn't a big deal because, in their words, 'no blood was shed over that'. You know, Sheldon Adelson's $100 million donation to Trump got Israel that prize. Something no American President had done in 5 decades prior to Trump. And some months ago, Sheldon's widow Miriam gave another $100 million to Trump with the promise to recognize the entire West Bank as the Israeli territory.
Some people like those two Pakistani friends are so gullible. I think too many people believe in myths. IF Trump was such anti-Deep State, then he wouldn't have the ultimate warmonger John Bolton in his cabinet and wouldn't have Lindsay Graham among his diehard supporters.

There are two types of people: those like your friends and those like me. The latter are the dangerous ones who want to see certain pieces fall in place and take advantage of them for the greater good. Some conflicts fought now are better than being fought down the road. Trump's policies could create a frozen conflict in Europe that can turn hot at any time; his Middle East policies could instigate a broader conflict better off being fought now than down the road, with the possibility of entangling the U.S. in the region for decades.

The question is, will we be willing to take advantage of a small window of opportunity? Pakistanis must learn that there must be meaningful reasons behind one's actions; as you said yourself, the Jewish Adelson's position their policies through funding. Then, we must carve out a piece from it.
