Hard to find time to watch something almost one hour long but I like to listen to multiple viewpoints and just discovered this guy: Alex Krainer. Much of what he is saying in this video is said by others, including the Israeli 'delusions' and that a lot depends on the US elections. One thing he is saying which something I had said before: Big Powers can make behind the scene deals. So in his opinion, there is a chance down the road a Trump Presidency may succeed in breaking Russia away from China. He is also cautioning against the 'De Dollarization' happening soon.
In short, the United States has enormous powers--soft and hard and economic.

It does seem everyone is waiting to see who will win the election, but the longer this goes on, or at least heightened tensions, the whole region will be quicksand for all but China, who is trying to stay out of it. Even the Saudis are in fear their oil infrastructure could be collateral damage if the conflict escalates.
