@Musings / @Waz / Mods: How long you are going to split this conflict into different threads ? They really are one and the same.

In all fairness, these are four distinctly separate war fronts and it probably makes sense to keep them separate.
  1. Gaza
  2. Lebanon
  3. Yemen
  4. Iran
If they are merged into one thread, it would become hard to follow what's happening on each front.

No, they are all wars on Islam.

@Developereo : Islam or Geopolitics or Colonialism or whatever: They are really one conflict. How can one separate the West Bank from Gaza and Gaza from Hezbollah and Hezbollah from Lebanon and Lebanon from Syria/Iraq/Iran?? Add in the Houthis--they are also part of one conflict.
We watch World War I and II documentaries: They may divide into different regions but they are usually presented as World I and II. Splitting this conflict into different threads was not needed and is actually counter productive. We all have busy lives and easier to refresh just one page then to try to figure out what's going on in different threads and try to include that into our understanding.

Your reading is wrong. Absolutely wrong. Americans, if they really wanted to be in a frontal war against Iran, would be involved many months ago. Supplying weapons and putting in some special forces etc is not the same as a full fledged American involvement--which probably America can't afford to anyway for more than material reasons: There has to be some Manufactured Consent before that.
Everything is tied to the American elections and its results. Netanyahu is acting like a mad dog right now because he wants to take the 'unique window of opportunity' due to the election cycle. Absolutely.
It is planned, phased involvement. They are setting the scene for a major involvement after the elections, where the victorious Israeliphile President will claim he/she has the mandate of the people to deepen their involvement. They have invested a collossal amount in the genocide and mass destruction of Gaza and aren't going to give it up and will try and seal the claim to the land. It depends on the resolve of the decent countries of the world to ensure this doesn't happen but the cost will be high.

Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt should start to force military training to every man, woman and child. There are dark clouds of evil over the horizon and they better prepare now. The defence of Israel will most likely shift to regime change in Iran and the domino consequences won't be good on many countries in the region and beyond. China, Pakistan will be affected the most economically as the oil supply will be drastically restricted. If Pakistan had any strategic sense it would redirect the impending delivery of J31s to Iran.

Well, personally I just click 'New posts' but to each his own, I guess.

I also browse with images turned off in Chrome so it's much faster to load pages and scan posts. I reload a page with images turned on only if a posts intrigues me.

No one knows what's in the minds of Biden and Netanyahu: Those are the main two decision makers and their immediate advisors who are going to decide. Even if Biden loses, he would still have the authority of the American President to make decisions right up to Trump's inauguration as the President till late January. So plenty of time between November 6 and January 20+.

My educated guess, after watching multiple sources over the last several months: Americans, at least under the Democrats, don't want a wider war partly because can't afford one. In fact, a Russian analyst, something like Dimitry Orlov, said that today he foresees a rapid de-escalation following the US elections on Nov. 5.

There is absolutely no denying that Netanyahu is trying to take advantage of the US elections to escalate. The only explanation for that is he senses an opportunity to exploit the American political situation due to the elections. An opportunity he may not get after the American elections.

So, broadly speaking, I disagree with you that Americans want a regional war. I never sensed that after October 7, 2023. It is one thing to keep Israel standing. It is another to fall to defend Israel.

Drag? US has been entrenched in Israeli atrocities from day 1 and the regime in Washington will do more dirty work for Israel.
Both of you are basically correct.

It will help when referring to Americans, we think of Davy Crockett, Thomas Jefferson and another great American - Hellen Keller - whom I touched on earlier today with this post in US Politics:

Post in thread 'US Politics' https://defencepk.com/forums/threads/us-politics.5/post-395888

There are many other great Americans like Henry Ford, Charles Lindbergh Jr (and senior!), US Chief Justice Joseph Story, Mark Twain, and I can go on and on.

The US, ZOG, or Yankee Nation, whatever one may call it, is, or has always been, unAmerican.....

While the article is interesting , what's surprising are the number of user comments Liked or Disliked by the anti Israel users. This is the first time I've noticed something like this.... Wondering if the Israeli site is infiltrated by foreigners or Israelis are increasingly in despair.

“The Israeli army has lost more than 10,000 soldiers so far who were killed, wounded, or suffered from psychological disorders.” The Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
