I think it is futile to discuss with those here who know zero about the American political system. I encourage you to watch the Rep. Jayapal video I posted yesterday--it is only about 30 minutes long and she says a lot in those 30 minutes; she is herself a survival of the AIPAC attempt to unseat her. But I think minds have made up here--unpolitical minds. Minds who are absolutely unwitting allies of Netanyahu! I have been following the Israeli media for months and the message is unmistakable: They hate Harris and love Trump!

But it is really futile discussing with you and people like you here. I just HOPE you guys' 'punishment' of Harris would better the Palestinians lives, in which case I will gladly stand corrected.

Great news keep coming! And I don't think Netanyahu can survive this firing of Gallant and potentially upcoming firing of the Shin Beth and the Army Chiefs.

'Take to the streets': Opposition calls for protests across Israel after Gallant's firing

Head of The Democrats party, Yair Golan, called for protests, saying, "Take to the streets."

"The security of the State of Israel was and will always remain the mission of my life," Defense Minister Yoav Gallant posted on X/Twitter on Tuesday after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired him.

This response is word-for-word what Gallant said when he was previously fired in March 2023.

National Unity head Benny Gantz also responded to the development, saying, "Politics at the expense of national security."

National Unity MK Gadi Eisenkot said:

"An unprecedented loss of composure."

"The dismissal of the defense minister amid Israel's longest and most challenging war, motivated by narrow political interests and an effort to push through an evasion law, represents an unprecedented act of irresponsibility. This is part of an ongoing campaign originating from the Prime Minister’s Office to weaken and undermine state institutions. The firing of Defense Minister Gallant at such a critical moment compromises national interests, erodes public trust in the state, and jeopardizes Israel’s ability to succeed in the war and accomplish its objectives."

Settlers are now turning on each other as things are going badly.

Juicy and may it continue.

Absolutely!! If they were winning this wouldn't be happening. But curious about the timing: On the Day of the US Elections! Netanyahu KNOWS that there will be political paralysis in America in case of a split mandate and the paralysis could last several weeks. He must have factored that in in such a big decision. What's he going to do next about the conflicts!

Great news!! What a headline at Times of Israel!! Firing and more firing to come but on the election day of America??!!
A winning side wouldn't be doing this, guys and gals!

yes, Iran should watch from the sidelines. But will Israel? Netanyahu will find it extremely difficult to survive the three firings if he does fire the Shin Beth and the Army Chiefs after firing Gallant. But he has done this on the US election day for some reason. This Haramzada will not go away easily and would rather start a major war just to stay in power.
