Unless I am missing something, look at another example of the NY Times' bias for Israel. NYT is supposed to be probably THE most influential news outlet in the world and yet can't hide its warmongering bigotry; it is a thinly veiled mouthpiece for the Neo Cons and definitely no disguises are needed when it comes to Israel.
The screen capture was taken by me. There is hardly ANY differentiation in Israel between a 'soldier' and a 'civilian' and yet NY Times not only ignores that fact but also, when a 'soldier' is killed, it is 'woman' who was killed!

And in the topic of this thread, Hamas offered up innocent children as part of their military strategy to trap Israel into this invasion and killings so that the world opinion turns against them? If this is successful, then perhaps they can claim a successful outcome.

In any war civilians are caught up, but the rules of war specifically ensure the agreement to protect and spare civilians and not slaughter them at any opportunity or enocurage the slaughter of vulnerable civilians. If there are no rules then no one is safe and who draws first wins? Do you condone the Israeli concentration camp and the ongoing genocide of Palestinians?

They can and will bomb them regardless. And even if you miraculously had material and funds to build fortified bunkers underground they will still try sending their ground forces there and emptying shelters/destroying them in name of fighting Hamas/Hezbollah.
