Gaza death toll exceeds 65,000 since war began in 2023​

At least 65,062 people have been killed and 165,697 wounded in attacks on Gaza after nearly two years of Israel’s war, the Health Ministry reports.

In the past 24 hours, the bodies of seven aid seekers and 87 wounded Palestinians were taken to hospitals across Gaza, it said. The latest toll raises the number of people killed at aid sites since the establishment of the GHF at the end of May to 2,504 with more than 18,381 injuries.

Four deaths recorded were caused by famine and malnutrition, increasing the number of dead from the Israeli-induced hunger crisis to 432, including 146 children.

Since the UN-backed IPC declared famine in Gaza last month, 154 deaths from malnutrition have been recorded, including 31 children.

Tears Are Not Enough

Mothers carried them in their hearts,
Welcomed them with their smiles and love,
counted their breaths when they were born,
wrapped them in blankets,
sang them to sleep,
prayed that tomorrow might be a safer sleep
And forlorn hopes and prayers ended by neighbors' treachery, cowardice and empty hands
Now their arms are empty,
rocking only air.
And we press their names into the dirt
for the world to care.

Fathers built walls against the wind,
collected coins for schoolbooks,
dreamed of weddings and gifts,
laughter filling the house.
Now their hands are bloodied from digging,
pulling stone after stone,
searching for the smallest bodies taken by evil for land?

Children were learning their letters.
chasing the ball down the street.
wanted sweets,
new pencils,
a chance to grow tall.
But the bombs came faster than their dreams,
and they did not understand
why no doctors stopped their pain, why no food came their way, why the world led the angels to hell.

The earth is swollen with graves too small.
It cradles them because no one else will.
Their weight is light,
but their loss is heavier
than mountains.

Do not look away.
Do not call it tragedy without a name.
It is slaughter.
It is silence.
It is a wound the world will carry
forever.

Listen to the cries of the mother, the father and the orphaned child, does it not move you into tears and a helping hand?
And when history asks where you stood,
you will hear our voices rising:

—from the mothers’ screams,
from the fathers’ broken hands,
from the children who will never grow—

Today is September 18, 2025, the ICJ deadline for ending the illegal occupation of Palestine. And what happened? Nothing. there is a change. in the past the US waged wars to control the country, resources, expand the influence.
but now with Trump, the US wants to take lands. Putin, Netanyahu, Trump and I don’t know more coming are brothers.
the lesson for other. every country should consider its strategic and military posture.
